Chef John's Sausage & Shrimp Jambalaya

Only change I made was to add 1-1/2 chicken breasts at the beginning - added to butter a couple minutes before adding sausage. This was delicious and will be making again.

S'mores Bars

Not good. My daughter who loves all the ingredients wouldn't even finish one of these. Made for a teacher appreciation luncheon. Wish I had time to make something else but didn't. Embarrassed to have to drop these off at the school. Don't waste your time or ingredients making these because you'll end up with a below average dessert and a pan that's very hard to clean - even with tons of Pam spray used.

Daisy Brand Chicken Nachos

Was a good recipe but not great. Two changes I'd make if I ever make these nachos again: 1. Omit the fajita mix because it gave the chicken mixture an odd taste. 2. Be sure to use warm chicken. Had the nachos in the oven for 15 minutes and the some of the chicken mixture was still cold.

Michelle's Blonde Chicken Chili

This was ok, but really lacking flavor. I ended up layering this chili with tortilla chips and cheese and baking as a casserole, then topped with sour cream and jalapenos. Now that was good!

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

Great recipe but I did add garlic salt and parmesan cheese to the mixture. I also made them at least twice as big, baked them for 5 extra minutes then dropped them into a simmering pot of sauce for 1/2 hour. Delicious!

I have to admit I was afraid to add the mace after smelling it but the recipe turned out great without it. We love these potatoes and eat them all the time now. Thanks for the great dish!

Goulash Supreme

I was excited to try this because I love goulash but ended up being pretty disappointed. I had to keep adding more and more seasoning to get any flavor. My husband added lots of parmesan cheese just to make it edible. Will not make again.

Easy Turkey Tetrazzini

This recipe is great – even though I made quite a few changes. I sautéed a ½ cup onion with fresh sliced mushrooms then seasoned with garlic salt. I then added 2 cans cream of mushroom and ½ cup of heavy cream to mixture. Last change I made was adding the cheese into the mixture and sprinkled a little extra on top. My husband and I loved this.

Chicken Enchiladas II

I use a pressure cooker for shredded chicken which I add cayenne pepper and garlic salt to before cooking. Also, I double the sauce and add extra cheese to the filling. Have had many people ask me to make these over and over again - especially my husband. I'd make them weekly if our waistlines could handle it! Thanks for the great recipe.

Cathy's Banana Bread

This bread is delicious. But after 35 minutes of baking, it started to smell like it was burning. I checked it and was very brown, put in a toothpick and it was done. I did add 2 bananas instead of 1 cup and baked in two loaf pans but not sure if that's why it cooked so fast.
