A perfect recipe template! I used mayo instead of the dressing ~ everything else was to taste ~ Came out great! Thanks!

Curried Apple and Leek Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
I used all the ingredients as specified (except I used Free-range Organic Chicken Broth), chopped in my VitaMix before cooking then pureed after cooking. This may seem like a lot of extra effort ~ It was worth it! All the ingredients blended very nicely together. Nothing over powering. Nice texture and flavor. We used our dollop of plain yogurt and served with fresh homemade rustic biscuits (daughter's recipe) and ice tea. Simple meal, very filling and will have again!

Easy Honey Mustard Mozzarella Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
SIMPLE, simple, simple! Family loved it! Mine was even quicker than the original. I laid the chicken (cut up) in the pan, poured desired amount of mustard over the chicken, then poured desired amount of honey, sprinkled with 'real bacon' from the salad isle topped with sliced (not shredded) mozzerella. Smelled great while cooking! A+

Banana Oat Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
Absolutely loved it! Very hearty! I am not a bread pudding fam at all, but hubby is ~ I loved it! I loved the texture with the bananas. I sliced the bananas and added egg to additional milk and poured over as a couple of other reviewers suggested and omitted the raisins (just didn't have on hand). Will definately have again and again. A perfect filling meal for breakfast.

Yorkshire Pudding II

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2008
I used to make this a lot, but never memorized it. Through many life changes, I managed to loose my recipe. This an awesome duplicate. I don't make individual's, I use a pan. Also, I melt butter in my pan (in the oven) instead of using the drippings. When finished I spoon apricot jam on top! Great with chicken and rice and a nice salad. Thanks!

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Tasted just like refried beans you get a good ole mexican resturant! Just like the recipes says...refried without the refry! My family loved this recipe! It's a keeper!

Simple Salmon Chowder II

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
This was the best chowder ever! So easy and very delicious! My husband doesn't usually like seafood chowder, in fact when he dished it up I noticed no salmon. When I asked him to try it, he did, reluctantly. He had three bowls and took some the following day to work! He said he couldn't wait for lunch because he kept thinking about that chowder. This definately a 5 star recipe! Thanks!

Ground Beef 'n' Biscuits

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
Super Quick and Super Tasty! There is some concern about the uncooked biscuits on the bottom, my suggestion is to use biscuits that are not jumbo sized and make sure they are BROWNED on top before removing from oven. We used the jumbo size and cooked a little longer, some doughy-ness but it didn't bother us a bit! We loved this recipe and will use again and again. Like I said before EASY & TASTY!

Rave reviews for this easy and tasty slow ccoked stew. I was short on stew beef so I just cut it up a little smaller and portions were great ~ NO LEFT OVERS! Yummy! This is a keeper!

Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
I was missing some ingredients, but it still came out exactly how I was hoping. I have been looking for an Indian Chicken recipe that tasted like what we eat in an Indian resturant, and now I've found it! Thanks!

Mom's Baked Beans II

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2007
PERFECT! I put the beans in the crock-pot (instead of baking) and dumped all the ingredients in. I used 'real bacon' bits from the salad isle and served with ham rather than add the ham in with the cooking. I used these at a Christmas Kids Party - There wasn't anything left! Just as good as those Southern Baked Beans - if you like the sweet taste, you'll love these!
