Venison Gyros

Reviewed: May 18, 2014
Fabulous! We did us lamb instead of venison because that is what we had on hand. The flavors were perfect and replicated the sandwich we usually buy at a local Greek restaurant. This has become one of our family favorites.

Wasn't what we were expecting. Did not have the traditional Thai Iced Tea flavor at all.

Asian Noodle Bowl

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
Oh my goodness, this was exactly what I was looking for. Great flavor combinations. I have used this recipe so many times because my family loves it so much. I have to make larger batches because they insist upon left-overs. I tend to add more vegetables than suggested and upon serving I add some bean sprouts and lettuce to the bowl (on top) and then sprinkle with a sweet chili sauce. This is a super recipe and very easy to make. Thanks!

Slow Cooker Tamale Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
This recipe is a great template. You can add almost any ingredients you'd like to suit your taste. We added corn, tomatoes, diced chilies and olives. We also prefer a homemade cornbread topping, therefore we did not use the boxed option. It really doesn't take much more time to make it homemade. Thanks for this recipe. We loved it and will use often.

Won Ton Wrapper Appetizers

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2013
Delicious, easy and a hit! I tripled the recipe for a cookie exchange party. They smelled yummy as they were cooking and were even better when eating them. No dipping sauce needed, but we used a honey mustard sauce and it was good. I'm sure any sauce combo would work if you so desired.

Super easy and aromatic. I do recommend using thinly sliced oranges and adding them just before serving. Everyone at our cookie exchange loved this.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2013
Very easy. We used this recipe for a 5 year old birthday party bash. We had lots of kids and parents too! It was a hit for both. The kids wanted more and the parents wanted the recipe. I had two -pots full and there was no left-overs. The parents were amazed about how little ingredients were used. They all thought it was a lot more involved than it actually was. A BIG HIT! One note: You do not have to use Root Beer, you can use coke/pepsi too. Just do not use a diet version.

Chocolate Zucchini Cake III

A very good recipe. I tend to add more zucchini which makes it a more pudding like and it sneaks in more veggies for the kids. Our family loves it.

Perfect! An optional choice and for variation is to add a bit of cinnamon and brewed coffee in place of the water.

Chicken Stew with Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2011
Very good (and simple) recipes. I had doubled the recipe so that I could add dumplings on the left overs. Please note: make sure you add additional liquid the following day if you have left overs. The dumplings will soak it up!

Even without the chocolate chips and walnuts on top, this recipe is awesome! This is very moist and delicious! I always make for potlucks and it is always gone! Secret ~ don't tell them there is zucchini in it!
