I have an awesome husband, I'm the proud mother of 6 and have 4 grandchildren. I own and operate a business in Child Development with my husband and have been serving our community in this capacity for 23+ years.
My favorite things to cook
I love my crock-pot. I will use most any main meat dish recipe and make it a slow cook one.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Family Sunday Dinners! With six children (their significant other), and 4 grandchildren of my own, our Sunday dinner table is growing and I love it!
My cooking triumphs
I love it when my husband compliments my cooking! He loves my cooking and I love cooking for him.
My cooking tragedies
The first meal I ever cooked for my husband was breakfast. I was young and tried to imitate a meal I saw my mother make for my dad. Bascially scrambled eggs, toast and bacon. But her recipe mixes in onions, tomatoes and imitation crab meat. My husband hates imitation crab meat especially scrambled in his eggs. He was very sweet about it though. I have never tried that recipe in any variation again!

I'm giving three stars because I liked it, but I was pretty much the only one that ate it. I had too much left over.

Cinnamon Noodle Kugel
This was an okay recipe. It actually made way more than recipe indicated so we had too much leftover and no one wanted it the next day. I gave it two stars because, if we liked it, it would have been a great use for left over noodles. Sorry, but we will not be making this again.

Pasties II
Simple recipe template with a lot of room to improvise! I actually omitted the butter and used some left-over cheese broccoli soup I had made a couple of days previous instead of the butter. Because I was short on time I used Trader Joe's crescent rolls found in the refrigerator section instead of the homemade pastry. Obviously homemade is better, but mine turned out great. Thanks!
