Julia's Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2013
i already had chicken and potatoes in the crockpot when i went searching for a way to use them for dinner tonight. i made a changed a couple things, but it's basically the same thing. i used cream of chicken instead of cream of mushroom and mushroom gravy instead of onion, because that's what i had! i used about one cream of chicken can full of water, instead of the milk. i thought it was an okay recipe, we used it over rice and sprinkled cheese on top. i dont know how often i'll make this recipe though.

Basic Crepes

Reviewed: May 30, 2013
like most everyone else, i mixed the wet ingredients and then added the flour. it was still a little lumpy, but it was good. i also added a little vanilla because i used a berry and cream cheese filling!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2012
this soup is so sooo good and very easy! i cut the potatoes really small then boiled the potatoes, celery, and 5 bouillon cubes together for 10 mins. the rue came together very fast. after mixing the rue in with the veggies, i added a tbs of minced garlic and sprinkled on some parmasean cheese, stirred that up and added some fresh ground pepper! i just used sliced lunch meat, i cut it up and tossed it in after everything was finished boiling! this is now my favorite soup! i've never made a soup like this before and it was so good!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2012
i put this in the crockpot. i added two cups of water, tripled the cornstarch/water mixture, plus added flour. i wanted lots of thick sauce. i doubled all of the spices and added onion powder, garlic powder, and minced garlic. i also used brown sugar instead of white, i like the taste of brown sugar better! because it was in the crockpot the chicken shredded instead of just one piece, but it was really good. i've made this a few times and love it!

Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
this really is some great cranberry sauce! but it does make A LOT!! i used just a bag of trail mix from the dollar store, it didnt have nuts just dried fruit and that way it was a lot cheaper than going to the bulk bins. i got a lot of different dried fruits in the one bag and it was only $1! i didnt peel the apple or pear, i just cut them into chunks, i didnt have any skins clinging to the back of my throat and it saved a lot of time. also instead of using a pureed orange, i just dumped the whole can of mandorin orange slices in with the juice and halved the sugar. i had to add about 3 tsp of flour to thicken it up though because of the added juice! like most of the other reviewers, i have been eating it on everything, and by the BOWL FULL!
