Irene's Barbeque Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
This is a pretty good recipe. I didn't have kethcup on hand, so instead i used a can of tomato sauce and paste. I let it cook on low for about 15-20. It was to tart, but that could be because of my substitutions. I'm not sure. I used it on pulled pork sandwiches, it was really good. Will try again.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
Very yummy! I tweaked it a little bit though. 1) I didn't have any coffee liquor, so I used espresso instead. 2) I added the instant coffee and espresso into the cake mix, and just did a two layer cake. Really yummy, definetly a keeper! :)! It makes alot of frosting though, and i recommended putting some on top of a chocolate mocha drink! super yummy! Thanks!

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
I made this recipe the other night for my family. It was great! I recommend serving these with home fries (just microwave some potatoes until they are cookes, dice them up and fry them in a little oil.) and salad like we did. Thanks for the great recipe!

Teriyaki Marinade III

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2007
This was AMAZING! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because I changed it up a little bit. I added about 1/2 cup bourbon, about 3 teaspoons of cinamon and 2 teaspoons lemon juice. I made extra sauce to reduce down and poured it over my mashed potatoes and green beans. It was perfect, and after just making it, my family wants me to make it again soon! I highly recommend pork chops, grilled, like I did. Yum! I was very happy I found this!

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2007
these were ok. they needed extra sugar added, because after i cooked the first one and tried it, it tasted very salty. i didn't cook the chocolate chips into the pancakes, because usually the chocolate will burn. i just put them in right after they come off the griddle, so that they will just melt right in. so these are alright, so i would say about 4 starts

Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2007
really yummy! i've made it twice, and the second time the only thing i changed was instead of corn flakes, i used crushed potatoe chips, extra cheese, and a bit of melted butter on top. it took about 20 minutes longer then needed, but that's because i love my potatoe my casserole extra crispy. other then that, YUM!! 5 stars!

Irish Soda Bread I

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2007
very good, moist, and DELISH! yummy, and i used a bit less sugar then recommended, to help cut down the calories a bit, but still it was sweet and yummy. my mom bought some irish soda bread from the store, and it wasn't half as good as this. this was much, much more moist. 5 stars to this one!

Chocolate Italian Cream Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2007
this was a pretty good cake. it took a lot longer then 25 minutes though, more like an hour. also, i think the frosting tasted a little to much like cream cheese, so i recomend only about 3/4 cup, instead of a cup. i love pecans, so i also added 1 1/2 cups, instead of just one. except for that, i thought this was a pretty good cake! :)
