Apple Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
Very nice muffins! I use nutmeg instead of cinnimon as I'm allergic, but other than that I followed the recipe exactly. Turned out moist and soft and very tastey. I'll definitely make again.

Pumpkin Cookies I

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
Delicious! I used brown sugar instead of white and nutmeg instead of cinnimon (I'm allergic). Other than that I did everything as the recipe called for and they were delicious! Don't over do the chips or they overpower the pumpkin, but the two flavours compliment each other really well. They have a brownie/cake type texture which is neat. I may try making them as a cupcake next time and ice them with butterscotch icing for something a little different.

Great Pumpkin Dessert

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2009
I've made this twice now and got a bunch of requests for the recipe. Honestly I followed it exactly to the letter, maybe a little extra cooking time. Turned out perfect. The second time I made it I did change the nuts to a caramel sauce drizzled over the top because of people with nut allergies. Just as good!

Heavenly White Cake

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
Very good! I added little pieces of real strawberry for some extra flavour, and it ended up tasting like poptarts (in a good way). Very moist, but a little dense. That could have been the strawberries though.

Vanilla - Chocolate Powdered Sugar Frosting

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
Really good flavour, and not over powering. Really easy to make and adjust to your own needs. I followed the recipe and then just added more powdered sugar/milk as necessary to make the amount I needed.

Chocolate Cupcakes

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
Ok, the recipes says it makes 16 cupcakes. I made 18 and had TONS of batter left over. Not only that, but even with the cups half full (large cups) they over flowed. And fell. And were that kind of too moist texture. Not well done at all.

Butter Frosting

Perfect every time. I like to add to it as well. I put in some coconut and turned it green. Great for spring!

Swiss Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2007
Awesome meal! Like others said, it's a great base recipe. I cut the chicken into strips, layered with bacon (pre-cooked in microwave) and baby spinach. Then I added the cheese, soup, and stuffing mix. Huge hit, no left overs!

Orange Cream Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2007
Turned out poorly! I had to turn to another recipe to help fix the damage done. The texture was just terrible, unspreadable, and did not taste well.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
Awesome, but really, how hard was this to mess up? Melt chocolate, dip strawberries, enjoy. I stole someone else's idea and drizzled white chocolate over the dipped strawberries. It was a really nice effect.

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
Completely delish! I'm not a big asparagus fan, but this was to die for! Went over well with my boyfriend, who isn't a big fan of green stuff.

Shrimp Kisses

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
Yes, the cheese melted out a little like others have said, but these were super tastey! I made them for Valentine's day and my valentine loved them. They only took a minute or two to whip up, which was awesome as well.

Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2007
The only thing I did differently was that with half the batch I added chocolate chips, and the other half I made with pecans (family member has a nut allergy). Both turned out AMAZING. Beyond amazing.

A little bit on the heavy side, but very very tasty! Use a chocolate glaze on top

Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
I made this on the weekend and EVERYONE who I served it to loved it. It was divine. Light, easy to make, and perfect for after dinner. I changed the cinnimon (I cannot eat it. The smell even makes me feel sick. Not cool) with kahlua for an interesting twist.
