I made this for my boyfriend the other night and he loved it. I followed other readers' recommendations by adding a can each of corn, black beans, and green chilies, a can of tomato juice, and adding a generous dash of cumin and red pepper flakes. This is a very easy weeknight dinner and I will definitely make it again!

Tangy Cereal-Coated Chicken

I love this recipe with Trader Joe's orange/apricot marmalade. Between marinading for a few hours, and adding the coating, the chicken always comes out very moist and flavorful.

Triple Berry Crisp

I make this recipe again and again. I usually use frozen mixed berries; that way, I can keep every single ingredient on hand in the pantry and freezer for an easy, wonderful, spontaneous dessert.

Yogurt Chicken

Dog Treats I

I followed other users' advice and substituted peanut butter for the boullion and cheese. When I give my dog store-bought dog treats, he usually "buries" them (in the couch cushions!), but these, he eats immediately. He loves them and they're fun to make. I give them to friends who have dogs and they all love them also.

Curry Pumpkin Soup

Delicious! I use garlic salt instead of plain salt, add a tablespoon of worchestershire sauce, and a generous sprinkle of cayenne pepper and paprika. In addition to sprinkling the pumpkin seeds on top, I add a dollop of sour cream.

B and L's Strawberry Smoothie

This was a very good way to use extra strawberries I had on hand. One thing I added, which sounds odd but was very good, was a splash of vanilla coffee creamer to counteract the tartness of the yogurt and which gave it more of a creamy vanilla flavor.

Best Yet Turkey Chili

Very tasty. I sauteed one yellow onion with the turkey, and added two small cans of diced jalapeno instead of the bell pepper because I like it hot. Next time, I think I will add a can of kidney beans because I like more beans in my chili. I also simmered it for three hours instead of the half hour called for in the recipe.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

I added a lot of blue cheese crumbles to this and it was delicious. I also seasoned with a few dashes of Old Bay seasoning, which kicks up the celery flavor a few notches.
