Marmite Mince

As a person from the U.S. I've recently discovered the wonders of Marmite. This recipe is quite tasty. I followed the recipe pretty closely, but had to add more butter because mine didn't pool in the bottom like it was supposed to. I will definitely make this again. Thanks for the recipe!

Tzatziki Sauce

This was quite good. I used Greek yogurt and it was still a bit on the "thin" side. It was very tasty though! I'm a garlic fiend and I even added extra garlic. Very good. I'll make this again.

Grilled Rock Lobster Tails

This recipe is so simple yet so good! I'm a lobster purist and I loved it! The olive oil keeps the lobster from drying out on the grill and the spices add just the right amount of flavor...not overpowering. I've made this several times and I'll make it many more! Thanks for the great recipe. Additional Note: I've used this method on scallops too. Excellent!

Filet with a Merlot Sauce

The Merlot sauce alone is worth five-stars! I've also made a Cabernet Sauce the same way and it turned out wonderful as well. This is a keeper. I'll definitely make this again.

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

This is waaayy beyone AWESOME! It was just amazing! The shrimp came out perfect. They were moist and flavorful. I made a couple of changes based on what I had in the house. I didn't have red wine vinegar so I used white wine vinegar. I also had a new product called "Garlic Juice" that I used instead of the fresh garlic. I also used dried basil since I didn't have fresh and used 2 tsps of that. I also doubled the recipe for 2lbs of shrimp because I love marinades and sauces and hate to not have enough. I made it the night before and I refrigerated it overnight. The next morning before I went to work I poured it over the shrimp. It marinated for about 9 hours and was still excellent with only about a quarter cup of marinade left over. For those that don't care for spicy, these were a teeny bit on the spicy side so you might want to cut back on the pepper a bit. Personally, I love spicy and unless it makes my upper lip break out in a sweat, I don't consider it too hot! Wonderful recipe. I'll make this for the rest of my life! Thank you!

Simple Country Ribs

These turned out just perfectly. I used country style boneless ribs and I boiled them in the sauce for about 40 minutes. I only had to grill them about 10-15 minutes to char them and to add the grilled flavor. They were moist and flavorful. I boiled them in a low sugar BBQ sauce and basted with that sauce so that the sugar in the sauce would not burn on the grill. I served them with a slightly sweeter/different brand BBQ sauce. They were excellent and I will make this again.

Maple Salmon

Excellent recipe! I'm on a reduced carb diet and I used Cary's sugar-free syrup to keep the carb count down. It still turned out excellent. I'll definitely make this again. If it was good with sugar-free syrup, then I can only imagine how yummy it would be with the real thing.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

This is really yummy! I used 5 eggs and added some cubed ham. I love spinach and eat it often but I did find the spinach flavor a bit overpowering. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I'll definitely make this again, maybe only use 1/2 package of spinach next time. I love recipes that are quick and easy and this one definitely was!

30-Minute Minestrone

This was excellent. I'm on a low carb diet and instead of pasta I added black soy beans (don't grimace people, they are nearly the same as regular beans, just low carb). I also used beef stock and a bit of Tabasco sauce. Mmm! Also, I didn't saute the veggies, I just threw them all in the pot and it turned out wonderfully. I'll definitely make this again.

Jalapeno Poppers of Champions

These are quite excellent. I used whole peppers and removed the stem and just enough of the inside so that I could stuff them full of cream cheese. I used light cream cheese so that the heat of the oven wouldn't cause the cheese to run out all over the baking sheet. I also used real bacon...one slice per pepper. Oh my, were they good! There were enough of the seeds left inside the peppers to give them a definite kick! I'll make these again and again. I didn't time the cooking time but baked them until the bacon looked crispy. Probably about 30 - 45 minutes. Thank you for the great recipe!

This was a great base recipe. In addition to the mentioned seasonings, I added some seasoned salt and crushed rosemary to a zipper bag and shook everything together for a better mix. Yum!

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Oh my gosh this is good...but it makes A LOT! Unless you are feeding an army, you might want to scale down the recipe. Also, use a good olive oil as the flavor really shines through.

Sesame Seared Tuna

This was both incredibly good and incredibly easy. It makes a great work night meal that can be ready in just a few minutes. I double the sauce recipe and have used it with other types of fish too. It would probably make a good base for chicken too (well done of course). Thanks for the great recipe!

Beef Bulgogi

I can't say anything more about this wonderful recipe than others before me. It was truly scrumptious! At the suggestion of others, I used brown sugar instead of white and I also added half an Asian pear, minced. I served this with Gochujang (my new favorite condiment), Kimchi, and black soy beans and green beans as my Banchan. I wrapped the beef in lettuce leaves. Thank you TNCOUCH!
