Asparagus with Sliced Almonds and Parmesan Cheese

These were pretty good, I did add a little lemon juice for flavor. The cheese got a little hard but it still tasted great. Thanks for the recipe we will be making these again. I am going to try them with a little garlic next time.

These were good but a little too sweet for us. I added some chili seasoning to cut back on it and it helped. If I make again I will use less brown sugar.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

This was excellent!!! We didn't have any leftovers. I did add some white wine and had to use spicy brown mustard because that's what we had on hand. This will be put in the dinner rotation. I would love to try it grilled with the sauce brushed on and the rest for dipping. Thanks for the great recipe!!!

Strawberry Pie II

I made this a few days ago and it was really good but a little too sweet and I love my sweets! Part of that might have been the berries themselves were really sweet. I will make this again but cut back on the sugar. Thanks for a refreshing recipe!

Roasted Red Pepper and Potato Soup

This soup was good but we needed to add a little more in the seasoning department. I did use two jars of red peppers and heavy whipping cream because I was out of half and half. I will make this again with some more tweaking. It was great with grilled cheese! My 1 year old loved it also and that says a lot. I did blend the whole batch for a smoother soup.

I have also made variations of these but I usually blow mine apart! These were great, the sugar intensified the flavor and went well with our fish. I will be making these again.

Byrdhouse Mushroom Barley Pilaf

This was fantastic! I will be making this again soon. Barley is so good for you and this recipe had a wonderful complex flavor but not overpowering. It was great heated up the next day for lunch. Everyone in our house raved about this!

Steakhouse Wheat Bread for the Bread Machine

The taste was pretty good but not what I had expected. This did not work in my bread machine so I tried it again and pulled it out after the dough mixed and baked it in a loaf pan. It's ok but not great tried it again and still doesn't work in the machine so won't be making it again. Gave it two stars for working 1 out of 3 times.

Warm Artichoke Dip

We really liked this the only change I made was just added a second can of artichokes to it to use up what I had and because we really like artichokes. Super quick and easy and usually have all of these ingredients on hand.

New Potatoes with Caper Sauce

These were fantastic!!!! These are my new go to recipe for potatoes. We used the left overs up by putting them under the broiler until crispy and they were great! The flavors went together so great, I can't wait to make these again. Thanks for the recipe!!!!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

This was perfect! I followed the directions exactly and I got a perfectly moist and flavorful chicken. The skin even got a little crispy. This is such an easy thing to make and tastes great. Next time I will season it with a few other things and put some carrots and onions inside.

Easy Alfredo Sauce I

Chocolate Popcorn

What a wonderful flavor combination!!! I did leave out the peanuts this time but next time I think I will toss it with marshmallow and peanuts when it comes out of the oven for a rocky road twist. This will replace my regular popcorn and nestle crunch bar ritual!

Snow on the Mountain Green Beans

We actually enjoyed these quite a bit. The lemon, feta, and beans were a great flavor combination. We did add a little bit of garlic to the butter olive oil mixture, because my husband said he couldn't live without it. We will be having these again and I can't wait to try them with fresh beans from the garden. N*R

Salsa Chicken

Made this for dinner and it was a hit. The chicken was very juicy and it had great flavor and super easy to make. Topped it with sour cream and black olives. Even my son ate all of his!

If I could give these ten stars I would! These were gone as soon as they came out of the oven. My husband who doesn't get too excited over sweets couldn't stop himself. I baked them for just 8 minutes so they were very soft I also needed more of the cinnamon sugar mixture for them than called for but we like them heavily coated. You can't go wrong with these.
