Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

I'll be anxious to see how my family of Hot buffalo wing eaters like this at our family get-together. I wish I knew what "heat" wing sauce to have used - since I made a large quanity I used Frank's original and added some hot thinking it would make everyone happy. I put it all in - ended up toning it down with some chicken broth - we still felt it was hot but will probably be perfect for the family (adults). Frank's comes in so many heats - it would be helpful if that was specified for us that are unsure. I plan to use "Resturant-Style Coleslaw I" and "Bob's Bluecheese Dressing" ;) I'm sure these sandwiches will make everyone happy! I made it in advance and froze it - anything to make life easier so you can spend time with everyone!!

So HAPPY to run across this recipe!! How much fun to make. Planning a get together with my family where I'm making "Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches" from this site - thought they would be a bit hot for the grandkids - so this will work PERFECT!! I bet the adults indulge them also! The only thing I did at all different was to use my confection oven and bake them at 400 degrees for 11 - 12 minutes! We tried one and used the "Hot Mustard Pretzel Dip" from this site (which I use on reg. pretzels) it added great flavor!! Thanks Jan!! Next I will make plain pretzels - knowing now how easy it is.

Mocha Cooler

All I can say is "God Bless You Susan Beck"!!!! I can't waite to share this with my friends at work today - we all love Mickey D's frappe's - now we can make them lower cal. and cheap!! I did add a bit extra coffee with half sugar and half Splenda - FAB!! 6/18/11 Conclusion: after making this several times already - I am now using 1/3 c. coffee - S.F. creamer & all "Stevia in the raw" - so much better for you than Splenda. With that said - 1/2 cup mix is aprox. 98 calories!! I've also been using water instead of milk - enjoying it just as much as with milk. TOTALY HOOKED!!

B and L's Strawberry Smoothie

I make my Protein/smoothie very simular. Besides adding 20 grams of a vanilla protein powder - 1 cup soy milk - I also add 3 heaping tsp. of fresh ground flax seed. I grind it in my spice grinder fresh every two weeks and it hides away in my drink - very healthy for you besides the fact that it keeps EVERYTHING regular!! Fresh pineapple is great in a smoothie also. Instead of ice I stick it in the freezer while I'm getting dressed for work - its perfect in about 30 mins.

Really yummy if you're a chocohalic!! Not my favorite biscotti - but it is what it says "brownie" biscotti - don't know why I expected anything different? If you love brownies - you will love this.

So GOOD!! I baked 40 mins. - could have been 5 min. less. Also did the milk choco. chips/butter & cream for the frosting. Make again for sure!! Thanks!

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Just had this salad for Easter - BIG hit! Made it pretty much according to directions but did cut back a bit on the sugar to about 1/3 cup - though we probably would have been fine with the 1/2 cup. I didn't have minced onion so I diced up a couple slices of fresh very fine. Also added some dried pineapple and sharp cheddar cheese to the salad. Since we eat a lot of spinach/Romaine - this salad dressing will become a staple at our house! THANK YOU!!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Nice texture - easy roll-out - kept their shape! The only thing I did different was add the extra cup of sugar - glad I did. When making cookies you must stir in the flour till its blended - over stirring is what caused people to have sticky dough - mine was perfect. Thanks for the recipe!!
