Hot Bean Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2015
Made to go with chicken enchiladas for a party. Lots of compliments on the bean dip. Followed others suggestions, and mixed with a mixer. Made is smooth and creamy. :)

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2015
Prepared the meat a little differently - put the chicken in a crock pot with a jar of salsa and a package of taco seasoning. Shredded the meat, and put in the fridge to set overnight. Meat was great. Added the green chilies to the soup/sour cream mix. My main concern was that the taste of the chicken was overpowered by the soup mixture. Otherwise, it was a success at my party.

Sugar Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2014
Followed another's recommendation and used vanilla instead of water. Mixed the egg white (3) and vanilla, but made it very frothy, then mixed in nuts, and finally the other ingredients and mixed well in the bowl. Best results I have ever had. Smelled like heaven. :)

S'more Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2014
Have tried this several times and decided to check Allrecipes to see if other people had better advice. You do! Adding the marshmallows and graham crackers earlier made a much better presentation. When I make them, I have chocolate chips in the brownies, and drizzle carmel on the top of the marshmallow/ graham mix. :)

Orange Beef-Style Tofu Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
I really liked this. I added other veggies, and next time I will add onions - but still great, and not very difficult. :)

Amish Yumazuti

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2008
I was desperate to make dinner and NOT go to the store, so this was okay. I am hoping that it is better the second day, after it has been in the fridge all night. I used two cans of tomatoes and I mixed in sour cream and milk with the soup, cream of mushroom, - as recommended by someone else. Not a big hit with my kids. :(

Fast and Easy Tofu Lo-Mein

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
Awesome quick meal. I wrap the tofu in kitchen towels for an hour to absorb the moister. When frying the tofu I added the red peppers. When it was all combined added brown sauce, sesame oil and soy sauce. My kids ate it up! Even our one year old loved it. :) Enjoy.

Cornbread and Sausage Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2007
This was my first time making "real" stuffing, and this recipe turned out great. My kids loved it. I followed others advice, I put the seasonings into the bread when I baked it, and I put the onion/ celery with the sausage when I friend it.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2007
Fantastic chicken! I took advice, and added chicken brooth, and used good BBQ sauce. It was excellent, but even better the next day. Next time I will make it the day ahead and serve later, sitting in the fridge makes great. My picky husband really liked it.

Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2007
Awesome recipe. I took the advice of others. I made a rub of the garlic/rosemary/pepper & olive oil and then let it marinate for two hours. I only had red wine in the house, but it was still great. :)

Pineapple Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2007
I had this at a party and loved it, but it did not turn out well for me. I had not read the reviews before making it - so I would definetly add some salt, seasoning to kick it up a little.

I served this at my New Year's Eve party and it was a huge hit. People were taking the fruit home in baggies. :)
