This is a great recipe. Tastes good, and it is so nice to find a coleslaw recipe that keeps well.

Vegetarian Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2007
These were delicious, exceptionally so the next day. I followed the recipe exactly except I made my own whole wheat bread crumbs and added some Italian seasoning with them. They freeze great and are fantastic when reheated. I just made 10 times the recipe for my daughter's wedding reception, per her request, froze them ahead of time, reheated them in the Nesco, and got at least 20 requests for the recipe. This is the best vegetarian recipe I've found in some time.

Easy Taco Casserole

Tasty and easy. I used sour cream instead of mayo. Will definitely make again.

Three Cheese Baked Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
Very good. I used ground turkey instead of ground beef. I also used 8 oz each of the provolone & mozzarella cheeses, since that's the size package they came in. 1 1/2 cup sour cream equaled about a 16 oz container, and the 6 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce equaled about a regular (26-27 oz) size jar. Leftovers were great, too.

Pat's Baked Beans

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
Very tasty and easy! I made a triple batch. Used oil instead of bacon to saute onion and garlic. Added rest of ingredients, with all beans drained except baked beans, though I did dump off some of the liquid from them too. Heated through, then transferred to crockpot for a few hours. No leftovers, bummer.

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
This is the best pasta salad recipe I've found. I've made 10 times the recipe for 2 separate large gatherings, and every loves it. I usually make half with meat and half without. This keeps well for outdoor get togethers, as it is not mayo based. I use grape tomatoes instead of regular; otherwise I follow the recipe exactly. Love it.

Garlicky Baked Butternut Squash

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
Very good flavor. Would definitely recommend microwaving squash first, as suggested by others, to ease the peeling and chopping process. Goes very well with blander side dishes. I've even served it over rice, as its flavor goes a long way.

Tasty Buns

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
Very easy and flavorful. I used 1/2 whole wheat pastry flour. The buns were a little bit crumbly, probably because of the whole wheat flour. Will try making as dinner rolls next time. Couldn't believe how easy these were for a yeast bread.

Very tasty and extremely easy. Followed recipe exactly. Used green onions because that's what I had. Will definitely be making these again.

Golden Wedding Punch

Made this for a baby shower, and everybody liked it. Very refreshing, and nice to find a recipe that doesn't have soda in it.

Peach Cobbler I

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2012
This is a good and easy recipe. As suggested by other reviewers, I doubled the batter, which was a good idea. I used 6 Tbsp butter, which was plenty, and I also sprinkled the cinnamon directly onto the peaches. The cobbler was a little too sweet, so I may try cutting back on the sugar next time.

Harvest Pumpkin Cupcakes

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2013
I've tried a couple of pumpkin cake recipes, and this is the one I'll stick with. It was easy, and used normal ingredients. I followed the recipe exactly. I got 27 average size cupcakes filling papers 3/4 full. I had way plenty frosting, even if I would have had an extra 5-6 cupcakes. Delicious! Thanks for this recipe.

Poppy Seed Cake III

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2013
A nice basic cake recipe with real ingredients, and very easy to make, too. This recipe is just as easy as the ones that use cake and/or pudding mixes. I used half whole wheat flour and added a little lemon zest & juice. This is a keeper.

Butternut Squash Soup II

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2014
Easy and healthy. I used only the squash, no potato or carrot. Sautéed a couple cloves garlic with the onion and celery. Baked the squash and added with the broth. Added a pinch of curry powder and a tiny pinch of nutmeg. Pureed with stick blender. Perfect!
