My friend fixed these for a party and they were such a hit that everyone wanted the recipe. I've made them a few times since, always to rave review.

This was wonderful and SO easy! I recommend adding peaches and toasted pecans, too.

Spaghetti Squash I

My husband, toddler and I all loved this recipe. It tastes so much like pasta that no one noticed it was entirely vegetables.

Winter Energy Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
These cookies are fantastic! I was afraid they would be too "healthy tasting" for my husband, but he LOVED them. So does my toddler (not that that's saying much), and I don't feel guilty letting him have two because they aren't so bad for you. I made the cookies about half the size, though and cut the cooking time a little. These will be a regular in my house.

Banana Nut Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
This has become my favorite recipe lately. I use whole wheat flour and make these as mini muffins (and cut the cooking time) every week for my toddler. They are a perfect snack. He thinks he's getting a sweet treat, and I feel like he's getting something healthy. Everyone I've made them for, including a lot of other young kids, loves them. I highly recommend.

Parmesan Sage Pork Chops

I fix pork chops all the time and these are hands down the best I've made. They were also easy and don't require any exotic ingredients. GREAT recipe.

The Old Boy's Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
Great pie! Made this for a party and everyone loved it! My strawberries were really big, and I ended up using 6 cups instead of 4 to really fill the pie dish up. It was perfect!

Crunchy Turkey Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
I followed the recipe almost exactly, but I added a handful of dried cranberries. I also used my food processor to cut down on chopping and because I like the consistency. Delicious!

Very easy and very good. This was a great quick recipe for a weekday meal. My husband and toddler both loved it. These chops are also good cooked on the grill.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
Great recipes! This is the best homemade bread I've made. I took one reviewer's suggestion and added cinnamon, sugar and raisins into a loaf, and it was better than cake. The other loaves were so good that my father in law (a chef) and my friend (a pastry chef) both said it was some of the best bread they'd had. The initial starter took a little longer to rise for me (about 2 hours, even though it was in a v. slightly warm oven), but that's the only issue I had at all.

Spaghetti Squash II

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2007
This dish was okay, but needs a little something more. I've had a similar dish in a restaurant that added chunks of goat cheese for a little tang and variation in texture. I think that may make this a little better and more interesting.

Ricotta Cheese Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2008
Very easy and very good. I used a marble cake mix and made a simple blueberry sauce to go on top. The blueberries were good, but the cake really didn't need it.

This was easy, but I didn't find it especially great or interesting. There are much better cheese dips out there.

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

These were okay, but a little too sweet and nutty for my taste. Neither my husband or I really care to cook them again.

Banana Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2008
I thought these muffins were very bland. It's hard to find muffins with much flavor and that was certainly a problem with these. They were much better served with butter (isn't everything?) but a great muffin can stand alone.
