Just Finished the First Part of Cooking Roadmap

I just finished the first "unit" in the Cooking Roadmap online course at Rouxbe. It was mostly about using a chef's knife. I've become pretty proficient with my chef's knife. Only cut myself twice - when I let my pinky and thumb come out from behind the guide fingers. 

Next step is a unit on the basic methods of food preparation. This unit includes a section on whole foods and a section on proper seasoning practices. Great stuff!

Congratulations! Aren't these on line classes great? I've got some on making pizza, sewing & quilting (none of which I've completed yet!!) I hope Rouxbe is as lenient as Craftsy, letting you go at your own pace & repeating steps whenever you want. I hadn't heard of a cooking one...hmm...I'm curious to see how you like it & how much you learn. Please keep us informed, and good luck! HaPpY New Year!
