Im a 25 year old single male that spends most of his time in the woods and deserts for leisure or for my work as a wildland fire fighter. Started cooking a few years ago to save money now I Just love it, it tastes better than restaurants, it's cheap, and I can keep track of how many good and bad things im really putting into my Body. But most of all I love seeing people enjoying the things I prepare for them, It's a good feeling for sure.
My favorite things to cook
Depends on the season and where Im living at the time. If Im in Phoenix then definatley spanish inspired dishes, in the fall I loe using wild game such as pheasant or quail that I harvest. If im in New Orleans visiting my brother then it's a hint of Cajun. If Im at home then it's Surf and Turf with potatoes. but no matter what, Ive always got to have the salad.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Are you telling me, my family cooks?
My cooking triumphs
Just stepping into the kitchen and tryng new things and im getting really good and using very few dishes while preparing meals which is a huge triumph for me since I hate washing dishes.
My cooking tragedies
Making a stir fry for myself and coming to the reality that I forgot to change the serving amount and realizing I had stir fry for myself for not only that night but in reality 10 more days.
