Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Wow!!!! These are so delicious! I baked half the batch because I know I'd end up sick because I would eat them all.

Wow, these are so good!!! I did make some changes. I added 1 tsp of cinnamon, 1/2 tsp of nutmeg, 1 tbsp of brown sugar (Splenda kind), and 4 tbsp of chunky applesauce. I used 2 apples (Macintosh and Golden Delicious) that I diced really small. These muffins are the best! I could see adding some nuts to this as well would be a good idea.

Banana Nut Muffins

The recipe was wonderful. It was my first time ever making muffins from scratch! I cut the recipe in half because I only had 1 banana. I did make some changes. Instead of vegetable oil I used butter. I used pecans because I didn't have any walnuts. I added white chocolate chips too! Otherwise, everything was the same.

Baked Rice and Vegetables in Broth

This recipe was very tasty. It seems very versitile. I would like to add red peppers because I like spicy food. It was seasoned well. I followed all the directions and the rice was good. I used only brown rice because that's all I had and the rice was GOOD!!!!! I can't wait to cook this for my parents. It's a way to get healthy food all around (brown rice and vegies). I think I'd ask more vegetables but it was fine the way it was.
