Easy Vegetable Pot Pie

I added a diced chicken breast and used frozen veggies (broccoli, corn and carrots) instead of canned. It seemed like there wasn't enough gravy when it was finally done, which I would typically expect from a pot pie. However, I'm not putting that to the fault of the original recipe- the chicken absorbed some liquid too. Next time I'll add either more milk or some additional chicken broth to increase the gravy. Five stars for how easy it was to make, and on so few ingredients. I'll definitely be making it again!

Robin's Peanut Butter Cookies

I substituted oats for the peanuts as I did not have peanuts and don't particularly care for them in my desserts, and I must say they turned out with only a subtle taste of peanut butter instead of what I was expecting. When I make again, I think I'll add 1/4 c. more peanut butter. I also used only 1 stick of butter and substituted 1/2 c. unsweetened apple sauce for the rest. It seemed a bit runny, so I topped it off with maybe another 1/3 c. flour. The result baked up perfect! Great recipe, easy to make.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Really good! Some of the reviews suggested smaller chocolate chips, but I did the opposite and andded the "chunk" semi-sweet chips. It's a great suprise to get a huge piece of chocolate in this bread! Bake for the whole time, I didn't have two loaf pans so I cooked each one seperate, and the second one needed a lot longer to bake all the way thru. I followed all the other suggestions by the reviewers, adding cinnamon and vanilla, and butter instead of shortening. Gone within a couple days! Hard to stop after just one piece.

Amy's Spicy Beans and Rice

Very good! I added a spoonful of sour cream on top, and it cooled the spices off just enough to really enjoy it! I don't think the brown rice needs to be cooked for 40 minutes though... I bought a box of instant brown rice, and only needed about 15 to be cooked completely. Otherwise you just burn the rice. I thought the large quantity of beans would overpower the taste, but it definitely did not. I will make this one again!
