J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
I just made these to go with a turkey dinner, because I didn't have time to make dinner rolls. They were very delicious! I did have to add about 1/2 cup more flour, because my dough was too sticky. They turned out beautifully. This is going to be my new biscuit recipe for sure!

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
As I read through the recipe, I noticed two ingredients that are usually in cookies were missing... salt and baking soda. I added 1/4 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. baking soda. The cookies were wonderful! They have a soft, tender texture, not to mention, they make your house smell awesome! I also reduced the amount of white chocolate chips, but that was mainly for personal preference. I thought baking them at a lower temperature for a little longer worked very well for this particular cookie. I will be adding this recipe to my "favorite cookie collection"! YUMMY!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2008
This recipe makes the most tender, delicious cinnamon rolls. I would have to say that they are better than Cinnabon. I always prefer homemade to store bought any day of the week. These are incredible, especially on a cold fall morning! YUMMY!

School Lunchroom Cafeteria Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
They are wonderful. I make these rolls every Sunday for dinner, and have done for months now. Instead of sugar in the yeast I use honey. It seems to grow faster. I also use quick rise yeast just to speed up the process a bit. I have also used this recipe to make white bread. It makes two large loaves. I usually make braided bread and bake it on a cookie sheet. It is wonderful every single time.

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2008
I don't understand the "eclair" part of this dessert. Maybe if it had another name I might like it better, but probably not. The simple flavors were just that, simple. Like another reviewer said, it just tasted like graham crackers and vanilla pudding. Not that special. I had a variation of this that combined one package of vanilla pudding and one package of coconut pudding, and it just didn't quite work, either. This might be a fun recipe to do with my kids, because it is so easy, but definitely not something I would serve to guests.

Kellogg's® Rice Krispies Treats® Original

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
I've never used exact measurements for rice krispies treats, but this one is a winner. I did however use about a cup less of cereal, because we like our treats extra gooey!!!

Michelle's Soft Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
These are really great cookies! The dough seems to be too gooey when I make them, so I always have to add about 3/4 cup extra flour, and they turn out perfect every time!

I have been using this recipe for years now! I can't believe I haven't rated it until now!!! This one is a winner! Everyone I have made this for has raved! It is the most delicious cheesecake I have ever tasted. I bake mine in a water bath, and it turns out superb everytime!

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2007
I made this for my family a few nights ago. They said it was the best homemade crust they had ever eaten. It was very good, but it didn't seem to have that chewy texture that I really enjoy. All in all, I would use this recipe again.
