Allison's Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2010
This is awesome exactly as it is. I never have used the dill but everthing else is exact and it is soooooo addicting. I have also changed it up a bit with subbing the grapes for apples and the ham for smoked turkey and adding a little bacon and that is my daughters new favorite salad. This is a total keeper that I will make time and time again. I do like to use small shells instead of the farfalle, but that is just personal prefrence. Try this salad! Made exactly to the recipe you will not be dissapointed!

Cream Puffs

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2010
This is a great recipe, directions and all!!!!! I did everything as it was stated with the exception of only using 3 eggs and it turned out great. After cooking the water, butter and flour/salt misture on the stove I put it in my kitchenaid stand mixer and while it was running added the eggs one at a time and it turned out great. I did you one reveiwers advice to prop the door open after cooking for an hour and they didn't fall and looked sooooooo perfect. I think the filling is very forgiving. I didn't have any of the ingredients that it stating so I made up my own version and they are the best cream puffs I have ever tasted. This recipe is the best and so easy. Thank you so much for a great recipe.

Bread Machine Bagels

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2010
This recipe is wonderful!!! I only made 8 bagels (an even number is much easier to divide) and I did let them rise about 30 minutes after forming them. I can't wait to make some more and fool around with different flavors.

Peppermint Patties

These turned out great. It was so fun to make homemade peppermint patties. The second time I made these I swapped raspberry extract for the peppermint and they were really good too. I think I will try orange next time!

Sweet and Crunchy Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
This salad is really good. Everyone in my family loves it!!! I do use oriental ramen noodles and normally use pineapple instead of the mandarin oranges (just because I have those on hand more often). I also don't soak the noodles at all, the time in the fridge before serving softens them just enough. I have also added grilled chicken and pork to this and it is awesome.

Zesty Dip for Chips

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
This is a really good salsa type dip. I ended up having to use salsa in place of the diced tomatoes and chiles and had to use roasted red pepper parmesean dressing instead of plain Italian and it turned out wonderful. I think it would go really well in a pasta salad with grilled chicken also.

Kentucky Butter Cake

Wonderful cake recipe. I wanted to make a coffee cake recipe that called for a box of yellow cake mix (which I didn't have) so I used this recipe in its place and the coffee cake turned out great.

Corned Beef and Cabbage I

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
This is amazing! I used another reviewers tip and used one can of beer and 3 large cloves garlic pressed through my garlic press (then enough water to cover beef and adding the spices from the packet) and added 1 whole stick of butter at the same time I added the cabbage. I also cut my potatoes because they were fairly large red potatoes and that worked well. Great Great Great Recipe!!!!

This was really great. It is so nice to not have to have an ice cream maker in order to make a good ice cream. My children loved it and now want me to make orange and then lime. I will be making this for many years to come!!!

Blue Cheese Dip II

This is really an amazing dip. I really, really, really do not like blue cheese but made this because my husband loves it and we both can't stop eating it. I used Maytag blue cheese which is somewhat pricey but well worth it!

Butter Brickle Frozen Delight

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
I loved this cake and it was so impressive to look at! I cheated a little and instead of making the brickle I just used crushed up heath bars and mixed those with pecan peices and it worked great. I also added one more pack of cream cheese so it would taste a little more like a cheesecake. This is a very decadant desert and you will not be disappointed if you make it. Really easy as well.

Daddy's Popcorn

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
I am a seasoned cook but popcorn is the one thing I have never tried making on the stove. I had a bag of kernals and decided to try it. Your recipe is so much better than whats on the back of the kernal bag. It turned out perfect!!!! Instead of seasoned salt if you add a little salt and sugar it turns out just like kettle corn! Wonderful, economical, easy and just plain great!!!!!!!!

Cinnamon Popcorn

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
This is a great recipe. It's like kettle corn with cinnamon added. I am giving it out to my daughters teachers for Christmas and my husbands businesses that he works for. I used Daddy's Popcorn recipe for the popcorn and seasoned it with sea salt instead of seasoned salt. I also didn't bake it and it is amazing.
