Slow Cooker Spicy Black-Eyed Peas

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
This is a great recipe! I substituted one package of jalapeno sausage for the bacon and ham. It was spicy and delicious!

Turkey Pot Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
I used left over turkey instead of chicken and followed the recipe exactly and it was delicious. Who knew pot pies good be so good? The only modification for next time will be to add in peas to cook after carrots and celery is soft, so they don't lose their bright green color. I'm not a big fan of soggy peas.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
These are very sweet moist muffins. Mine made 9 BIG muffins. The only thing I would do different is not use all of the topping, instead sprinkle more sparingly.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2011
I don't care for potato soup, but this was delicious! I served it with fresh bacon bits, cheddar cheese, and chives on top. Thanks for the great recipe!

The Best Lasagna I've found so far!

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
I thought this was a great recipe. The first time I made it I didn't have any sausage and only used one pound of lean ground beef. It was still great! When I made it again with the sausage I only used 1/2 of the fennel seed, so it wouldn't be overpowering as it is in the sausage also. I also added a dash of nutmeg in the ricotta as other reviewers suggested and used a pound of cheese, because I LOVE cheese. It was delish!

Good cookies. I wasn't crazy about the cloves though. Just a personal preference.

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
I followed the directions and ingredients exactly.....unless you are a big fan of sweet egg souffle, don't bother. It has the consistency of jello, which isn't exactly appetizing first thing the morning. This recipe doesn't resemble any french toast I've ever eaten...
