Wet Burrito

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2014
I follow the recipe pretty close as far as ingredients, but since it's just the two of us, I make the burritos individually. I buy large burritos shells, fill them to our likings, pour the sauce over top, sprinkle with cheese then warm in the microwave. This way we can each choose what we like for fillings & toppings. In my opinion the recipe for the sauce is far far better than the other recipe with over 700 reviews! I've made these w/ shredded beef, chicken, and ground beef. All great!

Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2013
i'm just adding that I've been making pizza on a pizza stone for years and have never precooked my crust and have no problems with it baking all the way through. It usually takes 6 to 7 minutes total with my oven set at 505.

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2010
This was so so SO good! I didn't change a single thing and it was perfect. It was also very pretty. I had no problems whatsoever with it being too juicy or dry; it was just plain good. It was time consuming to put together, but I enjoy that sort of thing. Plus it was easy. Just give yourself time and you'll enjoy it!

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2009
This really is quite yummy! I always end up shredding it up after it's cooked and making chicken tacos. Very good! I'm going try some of the other's suggestions this time around like adding black beans, corn, sweet salsa, etc... Sounds great!

Pleasant Pork Chops

This was not our favorite pork chop recipe by far. It was edible, but that's about it.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
Wow. I was so excited about this recipe and SO disappointed in its outcome. With so many positive reviews, I thought for sure it had to be good. I admit that I goofed up at first, having misread the recipe to say 3 T of brown sugar instead of 3t. Yes, that was incredibly sweet :). I then decided I'd try again, only this time omitting the sugar all together until I tasted it. Well, in my opinion it was still way over the top sweet! I ended up rinsing the meat and going with Manwich, only because I didn't want to waste all that burger. I will search for a recipe that does not claim to be sweet next time around. I have a taste in my mind, but this was not it.

Gerry's Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 1, 2007
These were SO GREAT! In our house they are known as "tcbg" enchiladas, meaning time consuming but GOOD! The only changes I made were to add 1/2 the amount of chicken broth, 1/2 can of chopped green chiles, and I used Lawry's Baja Chipotle w/ lime marinade for the chicken. I ended up with 5 good-sized enchiladas in a 9 x 13 pan. I served ours with a Santa Fe rice mix that you just pop in the microwave and some refried beans. Our plates looked like something you'd get in a good Mexican restaurant and actually tasted MUCH better. Definitely a keeper recipe and I can't wait to have it again even though we just had them last night.

Whit's Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2007
The flavor of the filling was excellent, but I'm rating it 4 stars because we all agreed it needed more of a sauce on top. I'm going to search for maybe a green chile sauce recipe and try it again. It has great potential!
