My favorite things to cook
Cooking is like art work to me and I like all kinds of food and cooking, but some of my favorite things to cook are soup, mexican food, pasta, and desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite cooking traditions are around the holidays.My Oma is from Germany and she makes this german dish at Christmas.We make a pork roast in the oven with sourkraut and apple juice, with lots of mashed potatos on the side! YUMMY!!!! We also make cookies evrey year also. It's a fun thing to look forward to.
My cooking triumphs
It is very satifying when you make something and it's a hit! It makes you feel like going through the trouble to make something really good is all worth it.
My cooking tragedies
Oh sooooooo many!! But it's never my fault,the recipes must have had a printing error?

Awesome Egg Salad with a Kick
My husband and I felt like egg salad tonight and wanted to try something other than regular old egg salad. This was the best egg salad we have ever had! It has just the right amount of kick to it, not too hot. We served it on russian rye bread slightly toasted because that's what we had in the house and it was excellent! Next time I might add a little finely chopped celery because I felt like I wanted a little more crunch to it. Thanks for the recipe!

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating
turned out delishious! Followed the recipe exactly. I had two inch thick salmon filets and I baked them at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Turned out to be some of the best salmon my fiance, brother and I have ever had!

The Best Lemon Bars
all I can say is delishous! These are even better than the ones my mom would make when we were kids. I will never use another lemon bar recipe besides this one. I used more lemon juice (approx. 2/3 cup) Really lemony and perfect flaky crust. I loved it!
