Jeweled Coconut Crisps

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
These cookies were pretty good. I did them for a cookie exchange and they won most creative cookie. They are pretty and the remind me of sugar cookies with coconut and cherries. I am not sure if I will make these again. Others really liked them but there was just something about them that did not tast right to me. Thanks for sharing with us though.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
These where pretty good I followed the recipe except I do not like Hot peppers so I did not add those. I am not sure that I will make this again mainly because it is a very time consuming recipe. Though it looked really nice and colorful. Thank you for the recipe.

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice I

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
This was so good I made it for about 20 people and there was only one serving left when it was all said in done. Plus two people asked for the recipe. I did as other here did and added ginger fresh garlic. I also did not have the green pepper and green pepper and pea pods on hand but I did have 2 bags of broccali sitr-fry that all those things plus more. After steaming them with my rice when it was cooking I then chopped them up so they were not that big and bulky. It turned out great I will do this one again. Thank you!

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
My husband said it best whenhe said this was the best lasagna that he had ever had. This is comming from someone that does not care for Lasagna. I did not change a thing. Mixing the cheeses with the ricota cheese made all the difference. Thank you for a great Recipe.

Aunt Bev's Famous Apple Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
This was an awesome Pie. The only thing that I did not add was the salt. I also added the butter with the spice mix instead of putting it on top. I used philsbury crust instead of making my own because of time. It was even better cold than warm. Thank you for sharing!!

Bacon Wrapped Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2007
I was kind of going out on a limb when I tried this recipe because I was having company over and I myself had never tasted it. Thank God it turned out awesome! I spiced it up by adding monteral steak seasoning to the pork chops before cooking them. I was not sure of the kind of cheese sauce to use so I used Ragu cheese sauce and we loved it. It is even better when you use the cheese sauce that is left over as a dipping sauce. My husband says this is a keeper and I agree. Thank you for the recipe.

Scalloped Potatoes and Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2007
This was really good. I used pork chops with the bone in them. I seasoned them with basil, garlic powder, salt, pepper and sazone. I did not have any onions on hand so I used onion powder for the potatos. They were very good. Thank you for the recipe.

Buttery Cooked Carrots

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2007
This is not exactly what I was looking for. I am not fond of cooked carrets but I was thinking that they may tast like candy yams, but they did not. I thought they were nasty. My kids and my husband on the other hand loved them. So I probably won't make them for me in the future. But if that is the way I have to give my 1 and 2yr old their veggies then I will make it for them.

Pizza Dough III

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2007
This was so very good. It surprised me I have never made dough from scratch before. This recipe made as simple as 1-2-3. I did as the others and added some parsley and garlic salt. I also let the dough cook for half way before put on the toppings to insure that it cooked all the way through. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2007
This was Really Good! I took it to a fellowship and they all commented on this dish. I loved it and my hubby said it was a keeper. I just did as someone else did and sauted the chicken with minced garlic and onion and slat and pepper. I also added one more can of cream of mushroom soup and added more cheese. I also used Italian Bread crumbs instead. I also added Broccoli. Thanks for the Recipe and Great Ideas.

Chicken Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
This was my first ever chicken pot pie and it was so easy and very very good. I my whole family loved it including my 2yr old and my 10mth old. I did not use canned veg. I instead used the frozen mixed veg. I also put mesquite seasoning for chicken on the chicken before I cooked it. I cooked chunkes of potatos and put them in the mix. I then took the advice from another cook and used the pillsbury ready to use pie crust. I it was sooo... good. I will be making this again and again. Thanks to all.

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
These were the best pork chops that I have ever had that were not fried. My family and I love fried pork chops but they are not all that healthy for you so I chose to fix them a different way and found this recipe. I used pork with the bone and cut the bone out. I then put monteral steak seasoning on them and browned them to keep them from drying out. I then followed the recipe with adding garlic and honey. We had it over rice. The sauce was so good that next time I am going to double the sauce ingredients so there is plenty to go around. The meat was falling apart and smelled so good. Thank you for sharing the recipe and thank you cooks for the ideas.

Tasty Green Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2007
I made these tonight to go with a roast and they were very tasty it was a good change from the regular green beans. I did not however have fresh greenbeans so I used a bigger can of caned green beans I drained them well and put then in a sauce pan. I then took some of the other cooks advice and only added half of 1/4 soy sauce. I did not have beef bouillon cubes so I took the beef broth from the roast and added it instead. I did everything else that the recipe called for and it turned out perfect not too salty and just enough flaver. Thank you for sharing this recipe and all the inputs too. :)

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2007
I made this recipe tonight and it was the best roast we have ever had (so my husband put it):) I read the reviews before cooking it and took the advice of some of the cooks. I used beef broth instead of water I added garlic and monteral steak seasoning. My roast was only about 2 1/2 pounds but I let it cook for 11 hours and it was better than ever before. The vegtables were falling apart along with the meat. Thank you for the recipe and all the inputs too.
