Strawberry Jam

Reviewed: May 26, 2012
Super easy and perfect recipe as is. I have made this jam many times. I give the berries a quick pulse in the blender. I start the mixture on low to medium heat and gradually increase the temp to high. After it comes to a rolling boil I dial it back just a smidge. I use a thermometer to make sure it doesn't go over the temp, but since I read and used the tip about reducing until it's a deep maroon color I don't think I need it anymore. You can tell at that point that it's beginning to thicken. Great recipe!

Awesome. I used basil and thyme because that's what I had in my garden. I'll be eating this for breakfast and lunch often!

I love this recipe and could eat this all by itself as a meal. I used Italian bread crumbs because that's what I had on hand. It comes our perfect every time. Thanks for a great recipe!

Harvest Pork Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
Loved this recipe! I did add the carrots and one large potato, so I used and extra cup of broth. I would like to try sweet potatoes and parsnips in it as others did - those would taste great too. Thanks for a great recipe.

Delicious! Couldn't wait 2 hours so I immediately spooned some up for myself. Love it. I used Kalamata olives because I happened to have some on hand. Thanks for a lovely refreshing recipe!

Greek Pasta Salad with Roasted Vegetables and Feta

Reviewed: May 9, 2007
Excellent recipe. I subbed spinach for the arugula, used oil-packed sundried tomatoes (drained) because that's what I happened to have on hand, a little less oil than it called for and 1 T garlic (minced from a jar). Loved it and will make it again.

Brown Rice Lentil Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2007
Wonderful recipe! I cooked my lentils in broth and added a little garlic and bay leaf. I didn't have bouillon granules so I threw in a cube. I purchased a lime, but I think I could have used a lemon, which I usually have on hand. The lime was a very nice for a change though. The previous reviewer was correct - this recipe is very adaptable. I'll make it often!
