Fruit Cobbler

Simply amazing!! I had never made a cobbler before this one and now it is all I will be making from here on out! I followed recipe exactly except that I only used apples from a friends farm, so not sure what variety, I cooked them slightly in butter, brown sugar and cinnomon on the stove before placing them on the cobbler. This is a keeper at our house!!!

Southern Pulled Pork

Finally I found just what I was looking for!! I wanted a pulled pork that had enough flavor to stand on its own without BBQ sauce. The only changes I made was that I rubbed the 8 lbs. pork shoulder (bone in) with Quick Tender by Morton and pepper, I put it in a big ziploc bag and put it in the fridge overnight. I also browned the pork on our charcoal grill, I used a really small amount of charcoal to keep it from getting to hot. This gave it a great smoke flavor. I returned the meat and juices to the crock pot and followed the recipe exactly. I cooked on high for 5 hours, drained the excess liquid and cooked on low for 1 hour. My family raved! From 2 yrs old to 40 years old love it!! A new keeper for our family!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

The easiest cinnamon rolls ever!! My family loved them. This is a keeper!! I too added the cream cheese icing, I also double the recipe and yielded 26 nice sized rolls.I also baked about 27 minutes.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

This was just what I was looking for in a lemon pie. Perfect flavor. I did not add the lemon zest, just because I dont care for them. It was a little time consuming to prepare, but very worth it in the end. This is the only reason I rated it a 4 rather than a 5. All in all this is a great recipe and will be my only lemon pie recipe from now on. Thanks for sharing!!

Coconut Cream Pie I

Super easy pie! I took advice from other posts and used Coconut flavored pudding, but I couldnt find instant pudding in the coconut flavor, so I got cook and serve and prepared it as the box stated in the microwave and then added 1/2 the whipped cream and the coconut. I was told by many people that this was the best coconut pie ever. I was amazed at how easy it was even without instant pudding. This recipe is a denfinate keeper. Thanks!!

Old-Fashioned Cheese Potatoes

Great potatoes!! This is just the recipe I was looking for. I was tired of the plain jane scalloped potatoes so I decided to find a recipe with a twist, I hit the jackpot on this one!! I used Velveeta and shredded mont./jack cheese. I also added a can of cream of mushroom soup, this was a must for consistancy. There were no leftovers in sight. I had to cook for 1 hr and 30 minutes to get done, but they were worth the wait. I will make this again and again!!!

JIF® Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies

FANTASTIC RECIPE!!! I made this recipe to a T except I increased the PB to a full cup. These are the best pb cookies ever, perfect taste!! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This will become our familys new PB cookie recipe. I also sprinkled mine with sugar. Thanks for sharing!!

Breakfast Casserole III

This was a "house pleaser" here. I added green chilies, as the other reviews suggested. This was a simple recipe to make and there were no leftovers. I did use 12 eggs and next time I will decrease it to 10. Great casserole, thanks for sharing!!

Luscious Lemon Bars

Margaret's Southern Chocolate Pie

My husband said this was a "sticky" chocolate pie. He must prefer a pudding like chocolate pie. If that is what your looking for, this is not the recipe. This recipe is very rich and fudge like. With that said I gave it a 3 because my kids loved it. If your looking for rich and fudge like, here it is. This was very easy to make. I took the other reviewers advice and added a couple extra teaspoons of cocoa.

Best Brownies

Wonderful Recipe!!! My husband loved these and he is a hard brownie critic. But these were a hit. I added a little more cocoa, just to make they really chocolatley!! This is a keeper!!

MMMMM... Brownies

I will not be making these again. I had to bake for over an hour, just to get the middle to set up. It caved in the middle and ended up looking like a big bowl.
