This fondant tastes good and is fairly easy for a beginner to work with. I added cherry flavoring and rolled it pretty thin (mostly because I didn't make enough). It was a hit. I have used store fondant once and it tasted horrible. So if you are trying to decide between making your own and buying it; it is well worth it to make your own so that you don't have to see your guests faces sour when they bite into the store bought stuff. Also, I rolled it out between parchment paper and it got stuck to the paper. I almost lost the whole project. Rolling it out on powdered sugar works much better. You will get the right consistency as you roll more powdered sugar into the fondant. I also suggest getting a fondant smoother. I was able to remove most of the imperfections from the frosting underneath not being perfectly smooth.
