My favorite things to cook
I love to make homemade candies: truffles, Bavarian mints, peanut butter cups, peppermint patties, bon-bons, all kinds of goodies. I also love to bake. I'm getting good at pies and bars. When it comes to entrees, I love making Italian food and good old-fashioned southern cooking.
My cooking triumphs
I fiddled around until I figured out how to make home-made ravioli and sauce from scratch. Everyone says my peanut butter cups are better than the famous brand you get in the store.
My cooking tragedies
My White Chocolate Cappuccino Cake turned out to be white chocolate cappuccino SCONES. Totally not my fault. I looked at the recipe afterwards: it didn't call for any leavening, and the only liquids were the eggs and vanilla. No worries, I fixed it with a little Baileys :)

French Breakfast Muffins
These were good, but not quite "puffy". I did substitute flax seed for half of the butter in the batter, so that could have contributed, but they were a lot denser than I would expect, even with the substitution. I love the flavor. It reminds me a lot of a cinnamon covered cake donut. I will definitely make them again.

Blondie Caramel Heaven
These were good. Very rich, and had great flavor. For something made of all packaged items, I was very impressed. I do think they needed to cook longer than stated, but I ate them still half raw and loved every bite.

Dill, Feta and Garlic Cream Cheese Spread
I made it as is, with the exception of substituting dried dill because that is what I had on hand. Very simple, very tasty, and it got tons of compliments. I had 4 people ask me for the recipe. This will definitely be a keeper.
