Guinness® and Chocolate Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
Very tasty! With a family of beer drinkers, this was a hit. Suggestion to those who had a problem with "wet"-always use the best quality sour cream and cream cheese. Off brands can affect your results. Have eggs, cream cheese, butter and sour cream at room temperature before starting. Always drain excess moisture from your sour cream by placing in a fine sieve or yogurt strainer over a bowl while letting it warm . These little hints can make a huge difference in the end result!

Beef Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2011
Very tasy. Added a little garlic and used beef broth; also used 1 Lb. bison stew meat instead of beef. We love something green in our soups so added frozen lima beans(could also use green beans) and just a spoonful of toamto base. Cooked the noodles in a spearate pot in beef broth and ladled in bowls before adding soup. This way noodles don't get mushy the next night. We love soups, especially on snowy days; this is definitely now in the cookbook.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Very close to my mother-in-law's recipie she made for 50 years. Try adding coconut to the topping(1/2 cup) for an extra special treat. Always served at holidays.

Cranberry Hootycreeks

Wonderful cookie! Got all wild reviews from recipients. Very important to bake ONLY until edges start to brown; otherwise cookie gets very hard. Will use again and again.
