Old Fashioned Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2012
I thought this was great! I did use rotini pasta and I should have cut down the amount of pasta to keep the mac and cheese from getting to dry. Just an fyi for anyone who may not use elbow macaroni. Delish! Another family keeper:)

Pumpkin Spice Cookie

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
A real flavorful cookie! I like more of a crunch to my cookie, which is why I gave it a four. But definately a delish soft, cake like cookie.

Coffee Bonbons

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
I thought these were full of great flavor. I'll be making these for next years family cookie swap. I did make the just as the recipe stated. No need to make a double batch of frosting as some suggested. I still had extra. I also tried adding some Kaluha to the frosting in my second batch. Very tastey!

Spanish Rice Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
Delish! My family said it was a keeper. The only problem I had was it was very sticky. I don't know if that's the way it's suppose to be or not, but just the same, I will make it again.

Delish! I made the recipe just as it is (as you should if you are rating the recipe) for a cookie swap this year. By far the best item there!!! Everyone was raving over the sweet lemon taste. Definately easy to make. I'll be making this again and again and again!!!!

Strawberry Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2007
I was looking for a simple summer fruit trifle and this was the perfect pick!! I made a couple changes based on what I had available in the house. I used pound cake rather than angel food cake and added crushed pineapple to fruit layer. I also used fresh strawberries. It received 5 stars from everyone for a delish "banan split trifle"! I might try it with brownies next time instead of the pound cake!

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2007
Delish! I made this for the Fourth of July and received 5 stars from everyone! I made a few changes based on previous reviews. I used 2 cups of pretzels, 3 Tbs Sugar, 1 Cream Cheese, 1 1/2 cups water and 2 pkgs of straberries. I also used the strawberry flavored whipped topping just to be different! Delish! Oh, I also chilled the jello for about 5 minutes before pouring it on the cool whip layer. It only leaked in the corners. Perfect!!!
