Oil is not needed for this. I use really high quality chocolate. Do yourself a favor and use the microwave, there is much less room for error when melting the chocolate.

Pecan Turtle Bars

Followed the suggestions, 2c flour, doubled the butter/sugar "filling" . They were not gooey or all that good. We were hoping for a more gooey and moist result. Perhaps we cooked the caramel too long? Also I think tripling the cooked brown sugar/butter mixture would be a good idea. Still good just not there yet

Dirt Cake II

Lost me at the Cool Whip. Up til that point it was awesome. I have eaten this many times and it has never been like this. I am pretty sure that everyone here in WI omits the folding of nasty Cool Whip. Should have known better and stopped when it tasted good.

Zucchini Bread VII

I used Greek Yogurt in place of the sour cream and used cinnamon applesauce for half of the oil. Also added a healthy dash of cinnamon to it! I made 1 loaf and 7 jumbo muffins! My 2yr old loves them!!!

Creamy Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2009
I agree with the rest, it is a good start but needs some help. I used a dash of rice wine vinegar, lots of fresh cracked black pepper. I also snipped in some chives from the garden! Even my 2yr old ate it!

Tasty! We used more juice than called for and it was excellent. Not exactly healthy but a nice treat if you are in the mood for ham! My 2 year old thinks its the greatest meal ever made!

Ham Salad Spread

My husband LOVES this recipe! It is so easy! I just toss the ham in the food processor and then add onion and egg. We go a little heavier on the sweet relish cause we love the sweeter taste. Thank you for sharing this !

Pineapple Bars

Followed this to the T. It is not very good. The pineapple is barely even noticable. I will not make again. It would be good I bet with a "louder" fruit. We were very disapointed.

Sugar Cookie Frosting

I used butter and was out of milk so I had to use half and half. Rich and YUMMY!!!!! This frosting is sooo good. Takes color well IF you are using professional colors not the crummy ones you get at the grocer.

Followed directions and it was crumbly, added more milk and corn syrup and finally got it to proper consistency. Yes its shiny but we REALLY did not care for the taste.

Original Irish Cream

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2007
I made 3 batches of this today and followed a few of the other suggestions: used half and half omitted the alomond extract (forgot to buy it) HOWEVER I wish I had used part heavy cream and part half and half as I find it to be a little to watery. I used the full amount of whiskey (Bushmills and I dont care for it, shouldve gone cheap. Also in the first batch I warmed the swt. cond. milk and dissolved the coffee..it was ok. In the two other batches I did not do this and oddly these two batches stayed together better. Also my measurments for the choc. coffe and vanilla were quite generous.

This is a great peanut butter cookie recipe. I used the Smart Balance Omega peanut butter (chunky) for a healthier cookie and used Heath Toffee Chips this time and they were awesome!! Definatly try them with the toffee chips!
