Oatmeal Banana Nut Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
I only gave it 4 stars because I made a few changes. Other than that, it was a 5 star recipe!! I used brown sugar for half of the sugar, whole wheat flour for half the flour and added about a teaspoon of cinnamon. I also increased the bananas a bit. I doubled the batter and made half into muffins, baking them for about 25 minutes. This is a GREAT recipe and will become my staple banana bread recipe.

I agree that fresh blueberries are better. These were the fluffiest pancakes I've ever made!

Kim's Virtuous Mini Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2010
I thought this was a wonderful recipe! I was trying to be extra healthy, so I decreased the sugar to just under a cup and used 2 cups whole wheat flour and 1 cup all-purpose flour. I also adjusted the spices to fit my taste and lowered the salt to 1/2 tsp. The consistency is PERFECT and the bake time is right on (be sure you are baking them in mini-muffin tins). Thanks for a GREAT recipe. This one is going in my binder. :)

Favorite Barbecue Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2007
This recipe was great. Rather than use a bbq, I made the sauce, poured it over chicken pieces and baked it in the oven for 1 hour at 350. Then I thickened the sauce and served it over rice. We absolutely loved it! This is a keeper!!

Herbed Beef Rib Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
This was a great easy recipe. I sliced some onion rings to cook with it and cooked it in my crock pot on low for eight hours. The left over sauce is great thickened and used as gravy.

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2007
This was very good and flavorful. To more easily peel the tomatos, put them in boiling water for a minute or so and then immediately put them in ice water. The skin will slide off.

No Bake Cookies V

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2007
These were GREAT!! I substited smooth peanut butter for the chunky and following others' advice, I let the mixture boil for 2 minutes rather than 1. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly. I've made these a few times now and they have always set up; no matter what the weather is like. Great recipe!!
