Chocolate Chess Pie II

I'm giving it 5 stars because it tastes identical to the recipe I was trying to locate. The only problem I'm having is that I can't get it to set. I've made a couple and added 10 min each time to the cooking time, so now I've gotten up to 1 hr 15 min, I let them cool, but they still will not set. I'm not giving up. No matter how runny they turn out, they still taste great!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

This is a very good recipe. I have been searching for a good cheesecake recipe for years and have not had much luck. The only thing that disappointed me was that I had it on hand already, on the back of the springpan insert that came with the pan. Identical, word for word.

Easy Beef Stroganoff

This was absolutely wonderful. Being single, I usually make big meals on Sunday evening so that I'll have something for the rest of the week for left-overs. This is even better the second day. I didn't really make any changes except for adding garlic to the mix. I just added the ground beef to the onion/mushroom/garlic mixture instead of removing. I mixed the flour in with the broth which did make it easier to mix. Also, just to cut out a step and extra dishes, I doubled the broth and just added the uncooked noodles to the whole mix, covered and let simmer for about a half hour. Will definitely make again.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Very good. I wouldn't change a thing. I've made this several times and everyone wants a copy of the recipe. It also freezes well for wonderful leftovers.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Very good recipe. I made this just this evening. I did double the recipe, used 3 cans of beef broth and added mushrooms, 1 can of corn drained, 1 can of green beans drained, 3/4 C lima beans. I did add a little extra garlic and salt for flavor and it turned out great!!! Will definitely make again. I also took previous advice and browned the meat first. I don't think it matters either way, I'm just use to doing that way myself.
