Italian Chicken and Chickpeas

A truly savory dish with a touch of "heat" but not too much! Perfect even if you don't like chickpeas! Gluten-free too! Serve with couscous and a garden salad and you have a great meal. Tip: Use a mortar and pestle to grind up rosemary and release the flavor. Try it with the crushed red pepper flakes as well. Tip: Can add chickpeas when creating sauce, toss all in a casserole, cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes as well. Good freezer dish as well.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Easy to prepare. Great taste. Super consistency. Can easily add things to create a different flavor, ie basil, cayenne pepper, etc. A keeper for us!

Zucchini with Chickpea and Mushroom Stuffing

My family did not care for this recipe at all. I did cut the chickpeas in half and there will still too many. The flavors did not seem to go well together.

Sausage Barley Soup

Loved this thick soup. Used Jimmy Dean zesty tube sausage and doubled the carrot. Added 1/2 tsp salt and did in the slow cooker. Wonderful!

Baby Carrots And Brussels Sprouts Glazed With Brown Sugar and Pepper

Really liked this combination. Didn't have any trouble getting the glaze to reduce. Cooked veggies crisp tender and blanched ahead of time. Reduced the pepper by 1/2 and it was enough. Glazed the reheated veggies all together and put in oven uncovered at 350 degreese for 45 minutes while I prepared the rest of my dinner.

Herb, Garlic and Bacon Pork Loin

Loved this recipe! Made first time for a dinner party of 12 and had RAVE reviews. I used applewood smoked bacon which had a great flavor and decreased the rosemary by 1/2. I also broiled the last 8-10 minutes to crisp the bacon.
