Whole Wheat Banana Nut Bread

heavy on the wheat taste, light on the flavor. Will make again, but I will definitely putting more banana's and some spices in it.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2010
These taste like a great snickerdoodle cookie, not like an oatmeal cookie. Also following the directions for baking and these cookies are soft but flat. I didn't flatten out the cookies after the first pan and although they don't look done coming out of the oven, once they cool off they will be soft and chewy and thicker. If you want a chewy and thick cookie, don't flatten them.

French Silk Chocolate Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
I used bakers sugar to ensure a non gritty texture and I doubled the vanilla as I do in every recipe that calls for vanilla. I used Ruth's grandma's pie crust and the results were- Not a piece was left! It is super light and fluffy but very rich and scrumptious

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
I used honeycrisp apples, which are sweet enough so I eliminated the sugar (also because I am using it as baby applesauce for my 6 month old) It was easy to make, not too liquidy or too thick, tastes really fresh. I will be making applesauce like this from now on instead of buying it!!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
I doubled the mushrooms, olive oil instead of butter, and used half and half instead of cream. The results were delicious. It was flavorful without being too heavy. The picky eaters in my family liked it so I will be making it again!

Blackberry Cobbler II

This was a great recipe, the flavor is 5 star worthy but there was too much bread topping for me. Next time I make this I will add more berries!

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2009
This soup is amazing! It has the perfect combination of heat and flavor. It smells fantastic when cooking and tastes even better. I did cut back the chicken, I used two breasts. I also used a bag of frozen corn instead of canned. I will be using this recipe for years to come! Thanks

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2009
I found that the celery salt overpowered the other flavors. Next time I will cut the celery salt in half. Other than that, it was great. Not too spicy, but definitely not bland

Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2009
This crust was super easy to roll outand it turned out very flaky!! my only complaint is that it was a tiny bit too salty. I would decrease the amount of salt to 1 1/2 teaspoons. other than that, it is fantastic!

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
Everyone in my house was doubtful of these. Before I added the zucchini, it was very dry but it didn't affect the results at all. They turned out delicious, moist and rich! The frosting was a bit too thin for my preference, but it was rich and added to the overall taste of the brownies.

Fantastic and very mosit! I cut the sugar down to two cups and didn't add the walnuts. I was very pleased with the results and converted my non liking Zucchini bread sister into liking it!

It was delicious! I used four med/large bananas and i added 2tsp vanilla, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/4tsp all spice. The spices did not overpower the banana flavor simply added to it. I will use this recipe again!!
