Honey Nut Granola

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2007
so good! i doubled the batch and gave out as christmas gifts. I agree with some of the others that it could use a bit more honey. I made the recipes as follows, but added some orange zest with the honey/oil mixture. I also mixed dried cranberries, blueberries and raisins after it cooled. I lined my cookie sheets with foil and let it cool on the pan - no problems with clean up!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
Quite good. I found the sausage to be a bit too much, especially when eaten along side turkey; i will probably use about half the listed amount next time. Also, i did not add the liver and used chicken stock instead of turkey. The slight sweetness of the apples and cranberries was wonderful!

Best Bruschetta Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2007
Simple and delicious. I added a bit of grated mozzarella on top in addition to the parmesan.

Lower Fat Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2007
Quite good for such little fat, but i'd prefer sacrificing a few calories and using king arthur flour's recipe (very good). The loaf was browning too fast in my oven so i had to tent it with foil for the last 15 minutes or so.

Lite Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2007
Nice and light. This recipe has become my standard carrot cake recipe. It's not as oily as most carrot cakes so it can handle a good amount of cream cheese frosting without being too rich!

Fruit Pizza I

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2007
It was a very beautiful dessert, but i just wasn't wowed by the taste. I guess i'm just not a fruit pizza kind of girl! I think i would prefer it with a lighter crust (like a rice krispie/marshmallow base).

Cowboy Cookies III

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
Very good. I added a touch of cinnamon to the batter, and chilled the dough before dropping on to the pan with a cookie scoop. I pulled them out while they were set on the outside but still a little raw on the inside, so they became wonderfully chewy after they cooled.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
So easy to make and so good. I've made them before with a mixture of raspberry and strawberrry jam (when i don't have enough raspberry) and they're just as delicious.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
Just like cinnabon! I didn't end up using all the brown sugar mixture because it just seemed like a lot. The first time i made them i used the recipe for cream cheese icing, but the second time i just used a can of store bought...my family actually preferred the second batch!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
The only cheesecake recipe i make now. I always use light cream cheese and sour cream and my family can't tell the difference. Wonderfully dense and creamy.

Blueberry Coffee Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
Excellent recipe! I have tried the recipe with fresh blueberries and another time with sliced peaches; both times it turned out great. i usually divide the streusel recipe in half and add some oats in.
