Cake in a Mug

Reviewed: May 19, 2012
I love to bake, and yet we still love this cake in a mug! I usally make this for me and my husband, so I just whisk one egg and split it between the two mugs. We have added marshmallow creme, peanut butter, cook and serve pudding instead of instant, and chocolate chips. We have liked every variation. We only need to microwave it for 1 min and 20 seconds. Then we top it with a big spoonful of canned frosting. It melts on top making this cake really yummy! Red Velvet with cream cheese pudding is a nice combo!

Chicken Chimichangas with Green Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2012
We loved these! We baked them (without any oil) at 350 for 15 minutes each side. Perfect! We didn't have olives or jalapeno, so I just made the sauce without them. It still turned out great. We will add this to our dinner rotation.

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2012
Phenomenal! My husband took them to work and they were gobbled up instantly. His co-workers said they were the best peanut butter cookies they had ever had. Surprisingly, they taste even better the next day. I used chunky peanut butter and baked for 10 minutes. Thanks for a great recipe!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
This is our favorite apple pie! Like other reviewers, I added 1 tsp cinnamon, a scant 1/2 tsp nutmeg, and 1 T vanilla to the butter mixture. I pour the mixture over my apples and mix in large bowl, reserving some of the mixture to brush on the top. I also brush my bottom crust with a well beaten egg white to keep the crust from getting soggy. After wrapping the crust edge in foil, bake at 350 degrees for the entire baking time. This recipe is so delicious and so simple. It turns out perfect every time!

Golden Crescent Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
Yummy! This was my first attempt at crescent rolls. They turned out delicious. I used my bread machine to make them, and used half of the dough to make cinnamon rolls. The dough was so easy to roll out and cut. Thanks for a great recipe!
