This is AWESOME! I hate making turkey because its so much work, and it doesn't always turn out. HOORAY! This was just perfect. I thought turning the bird 2/3ds thru would be difficult but it wasn't at all.
A hint: Brining is Key. I didn't have a big enough stock pot to cover the Turkey with H20. So I put it in an oven bag, stuck it in a box and then filled the bag with enough water to cover the bird, and stuck it in the fridge. I had to remove a couple shelves to fit it in. When using an oven bag for brining make sure you double bag it. i haven't had one fail, but you never know. Thanks for the wonderful recipe. My family and I are happy we'll never eat another dried out bird again!
