About this Cook
I love tea and coffee and I have little tea parties with my friend Mary-Sue almost everyday. I love Danny Noriega and Amanda Overmyer. I have 2 friends. My favorite one is Cassidy--Reagan next. I also have a habit of driving and cooking. I also have lots of pretend friends named Gayle, Penelope, Courtney, Mrs. Winterbourne, Deandra, and Sandy.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook stir-fry, egg rolls, pancakes and tacos.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Me and my grandpapa sometimes have little cooking shows as a tradition and we'll go to the store and buy some ingredients and then come home and cook something. We also buy things and do a miniture IRON CHEF AMERICA and we even have judges (me, grandpapa, and my grandamama).
My cooking triumphs
I only have one of the best meals that I've ever made and it is my own little idea and it is meatballs on a corn chip with a vinegar mustard sauce. DELISH!!!!!!!!!!
My cooking tragedies
Once me and my grandpapa were supposed to make a rice of some kind and we didn't buy any rice--we forgot it and we ended up making a pasta. I was really mad--it was a disaster. But, in the end, my dish turned out to be really yummo!

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada
These are excellent; filled with flavor. You could use just about any cut of beef for this recipe as long as it is cut to size. They are wonderful. My husband is from Mexico and he was very impressed!

Cochinita Pibil
I am only rating this so that no one else will make the mistake that I made. I am sure the author of the recipe meant well, but the advice about cooking at "200 degrees for four or five hours" does not work!!! The meat was not cooked; I had to throw it in the crock pot to finish it off. The marinade and sauce are delicious, but please do not cook it at 200 degrees; cook it at 325 degrees as the original idea states!!!!

Gorditas
These are so good! My husband is from Mexico and he loved them. We fill them with fried potatoes, refried beans, queso fresco, lettuce, tomato, and salsa. Excellent recipe; much beter than plain gorditas that aren't fried.
