Better Than Best Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2010
Five stars all the way. This is a keeper and we make it often. It does require thinking ahead, but it's worth it.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2009
I just finished baking a double batch because I had a lot of bananas I needed to use, and they were GREAT!! very delicious. I followed the recipe with the exception of using 1/2 white and 1/4 brown sugar, used oil instead of melted butter and added some vanilla. So awesome!! Thanks for a great recipe.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2006
These are awesome. Not a lot of effort, but worth the time it does take. I use my kitchenaid mixer. When making the filling I found that if I use a whole stick of butter softened and mix the sugar and cinnamon in with the mixture and spread it out on the rolled out dough it is SO much easier!! Works great. I made some the other day. A double batch. FIrst of all, I didn't use all of the filling. I will use all of the filling from now on. But I made them smaller, so I could fit 12 in a disposable aluminum rectangular cake pan. I did not double the icing because I always have leftovers, but I ran out.... so if you make them smaller like i did, i would recommend doubling the icing as well. but btw, they are just as good with or without the icing. i brought a pan to my MOPS, and sent a pan with my husband. they were GONE! and bob came home with requests for more. apparently they are willing to pay for me to make them. I could put Cinnabon out of business. WELL! Imagine if I had used all of the filling! LOL! This is a keeper. Thanks for sharing this recipe with us.

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2005
This bread was awesome! It tasted great, and had a great texture as well. Only problem that I had was that it rises fast! And when i went to check on it, it had exploded over the sides of the bowl! Oh well... was still great. Just need to check on it sooner next time. There will definitely be a next time.

Iced Pumpkin Blondies

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2005
This was awesome, and easy to make. The icing and the cake together are so great! My brother couldn't stop eating them. LOL! I wasn't sure about the maple flavoring, but it is the perfect complement to the pumpkin. I will definitely be making them again.

Butter Crescents

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2005
I just made these rolls and we love them! I think next time I shall take other reviewers advice and brush melted butter on before I roll them up to give them an added buttery flavor. I think they could use something more in the way of flavor. Otherwise they are perfect! I definitely plan on making these again. And again.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2004
We really LOVE these cookies at our house. My boyfriend loves peanut butter cookies, and I like them because they aren't too overpowering. When I make these, the dough tends to have the consistency of chocolate chip cookie dough. I noticed in reading the reviews others talk about hte dough being sticky. I have found that if I use a spoon, like I do with choc chip dough instead of rolling, and still make my criss cross, the cookies come out great! try it. it will make your life a whole lot easier!!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2002
I was looking for pizza dough once when I felt like having pizza but didn't have money to order out. Also, there aren't any decent pizza places around here. This recipe was so easy to make, that I never go out for pizza and I have had numerous compliments on it. Thanks for sharing the recipe. It is awesome!
