Southwestern Chicken and White Bean Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2010
Great soup! Like others, I also doubled the broth and salsa to make it soupier. I also added chili powder and fresh cilantro. Very tasty!

I baked these in the oven, since we didn't have the grill going, but they were still great! Thanks for the recipe!

Pineapple Cracker Spread

Reviewed: May 29, 2010
Very tasty dip! I added 1/2 teaspoon each of seasoned salt and garlic powder as suggested in other reviews, and also threw in a few handfuls of shredded cheddar, because I love cheese. Thanks for the great recipe!

These were great! I left out the cheese, and added just a little dried parsley. Will definitely make again and again.

Marinated Pork Loin

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
This was a big hit with the whole family! We had a 3 1/2 lb pork loin and tripled the sauce. Used the reserve as sauce to pour over the top, rather than brushing it on while cooking. We omitted the sugar, and added some onion flakes, a little liquid smoke and extra garlic. Cooked it out on the grill, and it turned out great! Will definitely make this often.

Asparagus Parmesan

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
Very nice! Used broccoli (because that's what we had), cut down a little on the oil and parmesan, and added some onion and garlic. Didn't need salt or pepper.

Anna's Amazing Easy Pleasy Meatballs over Buttered Noodles

Reviewed: May 10, 2008
This was a big hit with our family! I cut the meatballs down by half, but still used 2 cans French Onion Soup, 1 can Cream of Celery and 1 can Cream of Onion. I didn't measure the sour cream - just put 3 big spoonfuls. Thanks for the recipe.

LuvAnn's Guacamole

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
I reduced the salt, but it was still too salty for our taste, so we added sour cream to balance it out. Next time I'll start with no salt and only add a little if needed.

Ranch Style Oyster Crackers

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
Thanks! I made these tonight and they are wonderful! I used to make them often, but I lost the recipe years ago. They're just as good as I remembered! And inexpensive, too!

Marzetti

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
This is the best casserole I've tried so far! I absolutely loved it. I used petite diced tomatoes in place of the tomato soup, a little less salt, a little more oregano, left out the water and added some garlic, a stalk of celery (finely chopped) and a can of mushrooms. So good! Thanks for the great recipe!

Stir Fried Snow Peas and Mushrooms

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
I used green beans, canned shitakes and baby corn, because that's what I had on hand, and it was awesome! I will make this again and again with whatever veggies sound good at the time. Thanks for the recipe!

Ranch Dressing II

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
Started with 1/3 cup mayo, 1/3 cup sour cream and 1/3 cup buttermilk. Then after adding the other ingredients used a little extra buttermilk to thin to desired consistency. Great dressing!

Kathy's Roast and Vegetables

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
This roast rocks! I used minced garlic instead of garlic powder; didn't brown before putting in crock pot; added a can of cream of celery and a can of beef broth; used onions instead of carrots; added potatoes half way through cooking and added a package of fresh mushrooms 45 minutes before it finished cooking. It was delicious! Thanks for the recipe!

Ultimate Potato Soup

This soup is very good. I used 1% milk instead of half and half, and a little salt in place of the chicken bouillon. Served with shredded cheddar, bacon bits and green onions.

Mexican Lasagna II

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2008
Great base recipe! I used only one can of (spicy) refried beans, diced onions, and petite diced tomatoes, because that's what I had on hand. Used all the spices we normally use for tacos, rather than a seasoning mix. Also added some minced garlic, a can of corn, a layer of sour cream, and another layer of tortillas on the bottom of the dish. Will definitely make again!

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
Awesome recipe! The whole family loved it! I added a can of beef broth because I was worried the pepperoncini may be too strong after I got a whiff of it. (I had never had it before.) But it turned out fabulous! And SO easy. I can't wait to make it again!
