Peanut Butter Vegetable Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2007
I love this soup!!!I followed recommendation of not letting family members know about the peanut butter. Everyone thought it was really good. You would not guess that there is peanut butter in it. Not by taste or smell. I added okra, egg noodles and lots of garlic. Thanks for the recipe, I will make it again.

This soup was very good. I didn't have any egg noodles but added 1/2 c. of dry alphabet noodles while cooking. I used leftover roast and potatoes from previous meal. I used more water than was called for and added 1 pkg. of onion soup mix powder. My family thought it was great.

Goulash

Reviewed: May 9, 2007
This was a big hit with my family. I followed recommendations of using less tomato products so I cut it down to 26 1/2 oz. can of tomato sauce and 14.5 oz. of crushed tomatoes. That worked for me. I don't like cooked peas so I added frozen peas when the meat mixture was almost cooked. I didn't have green pepper so I substituted red pepper. I added 1 T. of chili pdr. to spice it up, next time I will increase it to 2 T. chili pdr. Thank you for submitting this recipe, I will definately prepare it again.

Chicken 'n' Biscuits

Reviewed: May 2, 2007
Following others recommendations, I doubled ingredients to make more sauce. I added 2 T. of chicken bullion as my family prefers things to be on the salty side. Instead of baking in the oven, I left the sugar out of the dough and used same recipe to make dumplings, cooking in a pot for 15 minutes with a tight fitting lid. The dumplings were excellent. Everyone in the family liked it. I will make it again. Thanks for the recipe.

Fluffy Baked Eggs and Bacon

Everyone tried this but it did not really go over that well. My husband suggested that it would have been better with a crust. I don't think that I will make it again.

Be Prepared Five-Bean Soup Mix

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2007
This meal is so good! I used one package of mixed dry beans (soaked the night before). This made it a little too salty for me but my husband loved it. This was cooked in the crockpot for several hours. I will definately make this again, it is so tasty. Thanks for the recipe.
