Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
Overall, they tasted all right... salty though... I used boneless cuts and they were very tender. I only baked mine an hour, and most of the "Gravy" had stuck to the bottom of the pan. I added another can of mushroom soup with water, and used a whisk to scrap the pan bottom --Gravy (while salty) was AWESOME! Will make again, but had a horrific appearance (we personally dont care) and the salt content was enough to make my arteries tremble... but arent those types of recipes the best out there?

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
Absolutely delicious, i didnt have any cloves on hand so I simply ommitted them. A word to the bakers not having success, I found the trick to getting light fluffy cookies with a little crunch is to whip the butter first, then whip the sugar eggs etc into the butter (an electric mixer is perfect for the job. Use the mixer to blend in the flour. gently fold in the oats and raisins. For plump raisins, soak in hot water for 10 minutes prior to adding them, then drain well and add to your cookies. Bake for 8-9minutes (using a tablespoon measurement for sizing) at 350. Delicious!!! Ive never seen cookies disappear so fast!!!!

Pie Crust I

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2010
okay im giving this recipe a 3 star because of 2 reasons. 1 it didnt appear to be the flaky melt in your mouth crust I was hoping for, and two although it is a good crust for pot pies etc, for fruits and others its just not that great... will keep looking sorry.

Grandma's Homemade Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
Recipes took alot longer than 1 hour to cook. closer to 1hr 45 minutes (just a heads up to others). Taste wise, its pretty good, outside is crunchy inside is moist and soft, the way we like it. Only thing i would change next time is to cut back on the sugar a little bit as I think 1c. would be more than enough. Also dont mix all together at once, blend sugar and margarine, then eggs and milk, vanilla then flour and last step add banana's only until mixed in, dont over mix :) Hoped this helped :)

Easiest Brownies Ever

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
Okay, These brownies were perfectly yummy :) I only made minor modifications due to what I had (I used 1 cup margarine instead of butter) and I added about 1.5 cups of semi sweet chocolate cups. Although the batter was more like a dough, with some elbow grease you can sort of putty it into the pan, but the end result is chocolatey, gooy chewy and overall the best recipe for brownies ive come across!!! Perfect with whipped topping, and chocolate sauce on a cold night!!!
