My favorite family cooking traditions
We have "Golden Rod Egg" every Christmas and Easter morning. The family loves it. Many people haven't heard of it. I sent the recipe to All but haven't seen it post yet. I make a killer keylime pie and a spicy spaghetti and meatballs.
My cooking triumphs
I don't use recipes very often. I'm just a good meat and potatoes cook.

Peach Cobbler II
Just o.k. The instructions could have been better. Mine boiled over in the oven and started a fire.

Goldenrod Egg
I submitted this recipe and it was changed from original submission. The rou should be a white rou, not a brown one, therefore, cook for no more than 5 minutes, (the gravy should turn out like a white gravy for bisquits)

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I
This recipe deserves a 5 star for being easy and fast, but a 4 star for creativity. I have been making what my small children called "Dumptruck cake" for years. You can use every kind of filling. Cherry and Pineapple mixed together is good. With apple pie filling, I add oats and cinnamon. Fruit cocktail is good. You can even do pumpkin at Thanksgiving time. Just follow the pie recipe for your pumpkin, then throw your topping on. Like a previous person said, you can change the type of cake mix you use, but I like yellow cake the best. Things you can add to change it, nuts, cinnamon, brown sugar, oats, coconut, ect. This is the dessert I make when I have "short notice" about company. Or if I'm too busy to get fancy!!
