New Orleans Pecan Pie

Apple Spice Cake

This cake is wonderful. I made it twice, first i soaked my apples in rum then I substituted walnuts for the raisins. I made to first one sugar free using xylitol and the second one I made gluten free using a rice flour mixture. This is a really good cake.

Seven-Up™ Pound Cake

I have made this cake over 10 times and everyone loves it. It is the best tasting pound cake ever. The key is to remove from the pan after about 2 minutes because it will stick if you let it sit.

Cinnamon Rolls III

I tried these today. And they were amazing. I added chai tea Extra Butter and buttermilk. I also doubled the frosting and add it chai tea to the frosting. all I can say is it is a must try.

Dark Chocolate Cake I

This is absolutely the best chocolate cake ever. If you follow the directions it is fool proof. My customers devour it every time I make it. I make it with a White Chocolate Butter Cream Icing and it is the perfect mixture. Icing: One cup of butter (cold) approximately a half of bag of white chocolate melted in 2 (tbls)of whipping cream,beat together.Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 1/2 cups of powder sugar or enough until thick.

The absolute best cake ever. Although I do not eat chocolate my customers loooovvvvveee this one. Thanks for posting. I use a 72% dark Belgian chocolate which makes it very decadent.

Pork and Black Bean Stew

Eggnog Cheesecake I

I am giving this recipe a 5 because my customers loved it. I on the other hand thought the rum flavor was a bit overpowering. However, I did use a very strong rum from Trinidad. Next time I will half the rum and it should be much better.

Kentucky Butter Cake

O.k here is the skinny on this wonderful cake. One of the best glazed cake ever. I made it a butter rum cake by adding 3 teaspoons of rum plus the vanilla to the cake. I added 1 tablespoon of rum to the glaze after I removed it from the stove. I also made a final glaze to go on top of the cake. I made the same glaze on the recipe but I mixed in 3 to 5 tablespoons of powder sugar and rum to taste to the glaze after I removed it from the stove.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

I do not like pumpkin pie because I do not like the spicy taste of them. I prefer sweet potato pie instead. I made this pie for one of my customers and they loved it. So I am giving it a 5 because of my customers. The only thing I did different was to make my crust from scratch and I sprinkled powder sugar befor serving.
