Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2007
I made this pie for a customer. It was easy to make I do not know how tasty it was but he didn't call to complain. I did however, substitute the crust to a graham cracker crust.

Marinated Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2007
I marinated a turkey roast in this seasoning over night. I baked it in the oven for over 3 hours. The meat was falling off of the boneless roast lol. This is an excellent one thanks!

Seven-Up™ Pound Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2007
I have made this cake over 10 times and everyone loves it. It is the best tasting pound cake ever. The key is to remove from the pan after about 2 minutes because it will stick if you let it sit.

Pork and Black Bean Stew

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2007
This was a wonderful stew and I really am not a stew eater. I made it one evening to serve for lunch the next day and I had two bowls of it before I went to bed. I could not put it down.

Tuna, Noodles, Pickles and Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2007
This tuna pasta salad was so good. I did make a few changes like adding sweet peas instead of pickles, added carrots and boiled egg for garnishment. I highly reccommend for a hot summer day.

Five Flavor Pound Cake II

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2007
This is a very good pound cake. it has the same ingredients of the 7-up pound cake with the exception of the milk for 7-up and all of the flavors. I did add a pinch of salt to the flour mixture. Excellent, thanks a lot.

Five Flavor Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2007
I am a baker in Los Angeles and I make this cake for my customers and they just love it. If you don't grease the pan properly it will stick so that is most important. When I make it I alternate the flavors. I use vanilla, Maple, banana, coconut and butter. Or I use butter, lemon, vanilla, almond and coconut. Thanks for this recipe!!

Chocolate Ganache Icing

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2007
Apparently I did something wrong. I put everything together and when it was finished the butter separated so bad I think I may have to put powder sugar in it to save it. I don't think I will be using this one again. I did follow the instructions exactly.

Brownie Caramel Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2007
This was very good. I made it twice once with the hard chocolate on top and the second time with a carmel sauce on top. I did make the brownies from scratch because I don't make boxed cakes. My customers did seem to like the one with the chocolate better.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2007
I do not like pumpkin pie because I do not like the spicy taste of them. I prefer sweet potato pie instead. I made this pie for one of my customers and they loved it. So I am giving it a 5 because of my customers. The only thing I did different was to make my crust from scratch and I sprinkled powder sugar befor serving.

Eggnog Cheesecake I

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
I am giving this recipe a 5 because my customers loved it. I on the other hand thought the rum flavor was a bit overpowering. However, I did use a very strong rum from Trinidad. Next time I will half the rum and it should be much better.
