My cooking triumphs
Winning 1st place ($2,500) on a baking contest on the KTLA Morning News show in Los Angeles, CA. I submitted my original recipe Butter Pecan Caramel Cheesecake. It is the best cheesecake ever.
My cooking tragedies
I made a Sock-it-to me cake once from scratch. I put the glaze over the cake and i noticed that the cake was very heavy but had sunk in the middle. When we began to cut the cake, the cake split right in the middle where the cinnamon and pecans were. Everyone was laughing so hard we began to cry.
