Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
Ended up doing it on the stove top. Browned the chicken, added it to the salsa mixture, simmered for 30 minutes, then took the chicken out and shredded it. After the chicken was shredded, I returned it to the simmering salsa mixture and waited 10 minutes before serving. Very tasty on top of fresh flour tortillas served with refried black beans and homemade Spanish rice.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
This recipe is probably my new favorite from this site and I will undoubtedly make it regularly! After the chicken had been fried on both sides, I added about 2 tbl extra butter before putting in the lime juice and garlic salt (I didn't have garlic powder). I served this on a bed of rice that had sauteed onion and garlic, chicken broth, and cilantro as another reviewer had suggested. It was beyond delicious! I think it would go well with fish too.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2007
This recipe was tasty although I did tweak it a bit. I browned the chicken meat (as opposed to boiling it) with poultry seasoning, garlic salt, and fresh ground black pepper. Also, I seasoned the veggies while they boiled with the same amount of spices suggested for the sauce. Seasoning both the veggies and the sauce boosted the flavors and really made this meal a tasty treat.

Spicy Crispy Beef

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2007
This was delicious. I didn't have any chili paste so I substituted chili powder which worked out well. Next time I'll cut back on the amount of sugar it calls for just because my family felt it was a bit too sweet. It was terrific nonetheless.
