About this Cook
I love to cook and bake. I enjoy making meals for my friends and family and have become a pretty good cook over the years.
My favorite things to cook
I have recently stopped eating meat which has drastically changed my cooking style. I've found some great recipes on allrecipes that work for my diet and I love it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have a Polish background so I especially enjoy cooking Polish meals, but mostly around the holidays. Unless you grow up around this type of food you tend not to like it too much.
My cooking triumphs
The two best recipes I have ever made have come from they are bruchetta chicken, and swiss chicken casserole. Every time I have made these people have asked for the recipes.
My cooking tragedies
I get very embarassed when I serve a meal that people do not like.I find that certain recipes, even if they are reviewed well, depend alot on your own personal taste and it's importnant to take that into consideration when you are preparing meals.

Spinach and Black Bean Pasta
I have used this recipe a few times. It's very good and healthful (minus the parmesan). I would recomend this to anyone. Oh, and it's high in fiber. What more could you ask for?

Pesto Lasagna
I do not eat meat and I was looking for a recipe for meat-less lasagna. This recipe was delicious and fairly easy to make. I substitued the fresh spinach for the frozen, and ended up coming up a little short. The only thing I would change about this recipe is the alfredo sauce. I'm sure I will make this again, but I will use a sauce with more zest.

Swiss Chicken Casserole I
This is absolutely amazing. I have made it on many occasions from big family dinners to quiet nights at home. It is always a huge hit and everyone always asks for the recipe. It's not the healthiest way to prepare chicken, but it's so tasty!
