About this Cook
I am from a long line of southern italians. My grandmother taught me the joy of cooking and baking. I have her to thank for my love of food.
My favorite things to cook
While I love to prepare a good homecooked meal my passion is baking. I love to bake! Pies, cakes, cookies, and bread all from scratch.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have handmade cast iron skillets that were my great grandmother's.
My cooking triumphs
I am always learning new techniques and creating new recipes for my family.
My cooking tragedies
Too many to list....but the good thing is I learn from the mistakes and endup with a very tastly recipe.

Plain Caramel Apples
wonderfully simple recipe. I used small granny smith apples and was able to make 12. I used wax paper to line my pan with instead of the foil. I will make these again!

Sticky Monkey Brains
These came out perfect! The only change I made is I used a Jumbo muffin pan instead of the mini bundt pan and I left out the pecans. Yummy recipe that I will definitely make again.

Cinnamon Carrot Bread
Delicious! I doubled the recipe for two loaves, doubled the cinnamon, left out the pecans(just because I didn't have any on hand), and used regular vegetable oil (again because that is what I had). I really like this recipe, simple and quick with great results. I will definitely make this again.
